  1. Thought it was complete trash. Incoherent, pretentious, hilariously bad dialogue, mismatched music.
  2. I like this. I consider this a true attempt to make things right. It acknowledges fault for taking too long to communicate and acknowledges that it would be unreasonable to ask for partial refunds at this late date. This offer changes my view of you as a buyer.
  3. @AlexH @Golden Pete My personal view is that this transaction is beyond saving. My advice would be send the books back and get a refund for what you paid. Then both of you go your separate ways and learn from this fiasco.
  4. IF that canada post claim is in fact related to the package you received then that is beyond stupid!
  5. And for the record, @AlexH should come back to this thread. I would think Alex wants this over with as well.
  6. For the record, there is NOTHING reasonable about filing a paypal claim 5 months after you received the books. This kind of nonsense is why a lot of people have stopped using paypal.
  7. After reading this thread and your responses @Golden Pete I can't imagine why anyone on here would ever deal with you again. You don't get to leave for months, file a paypal claim, and demand partial and unidentified refunds on books you received months ago. You had a problem with the books you received? You needed to address that 5 months ago. To open a paypal claim, say you'll make payment on the remaining books, and say we'll work it out later on the first books while the paypal case is open is bizarre. Here's what you should have done. When you received the books, saw the bugs, didn't like the spots on the cases, you should have told Alex you wanted a refund and returned the books. None of this holding books for ransom with an outstanding paypal claim. And ranting about how Alex hasn't sent you the second invoice. You were gone and not responding to Alex for months. This whole thing is just nonsense.
  8. @Golden Pete Also, when did you tell Alex about the bugs? Did you ask for a refund or seek to return the books then?
  9. When did you file the complaint with PayPal? I think a lot of people were surprised to see you on here saying you want to work it out and even send payment for the remaining books while at the same time you have opened a case on paypal.
  10. They only send out mass emails when they create a new pointless label that no one wants.
  11. The management of this site never ceases to amaze me.
  12. I watched it. Now it’s been a while since I watched the sopranos, but nothing in the movie struck me as a reveal. The movie felt like a prequel to the movie they actually advertised.
  13. I thought it was trash. First 30 minutes felt disconnected and pointless. The advertising of this movie as a young Tony Soprano story was a complete bait and switch. . Everyone else felt like they were doing a mediocre impression of the actual characters.
  14. Loved it! Watched the whole thing in 2 days last week. The imagery is really creative as well. The multi-colored staircase is one of my favorite sets in a long time.
  15. Just won this piece of history on HA. Nicest looking 1.8 I've ever seen. Major defect is piece missing from back cover. But who's looking at the back when Marilyn is on the front!
  16. I only have a handful of books left and this and two copies of Captain Marvel Adventures 4 are the majority of them. My two favorite Captain Marvel covers.
  17. This is indicative of a bubble in the card market. The sudden inexplicable need to grade any and every card is bizarre.
  18. This was my best find at the flea market on Sunday. Guy only had 20 books at most in a wire basket with no bags or boards. The book was in surprisingly good condition. Happy with the $2 purchase.
