  1. Please tell me this happens this season (in the remaining 6 episodes) of the Flash and not next season?? PLEASE!!!
  2. Good point - the DNA at the crime scene didn't match Wells current DNA so this seems to indicate that it is more than just an appearance thing. Really liking this show. It obviously has it's cheesy moments but that is to be expected
  3. Anyone know where this page is: Ebay Superman Issue 74 Page 20 Shoot me a PM if you know where it is
  4. I would think you are correct. Although now they leave open the possibility of Barry going back in time to save Harrison Wells. Where I am confused is whether the RF just looks like Wells or whether Wells persona is now apart of the RF - i.e., does he struggle between being good and evil?
  5. Alright who bought it and wants to sell it to me at a 50% discount to what they paid
  6. I get that Showcase 30 is not his first silver age appearance - but I think it is a key book because of the Showcase connection (I like to collect DC first appearances/tryouts in the Showcase line) and the cover appearance also helps when comparing it to Adventure 260. That being said it is massively overvalued right now - as are most movie hyped books.
  7. Avengers 57 does say "1st Appearance of the Silver Age Vision" But yes, everyone push this as the real first Vision so AV57 can drop in value and I can get a sweet copy
  8. It looks awesome! I have high hopes especially since the rest of NetFlix's shows are pretty darn good
  9. I don't get the love for this show - I mean Batman is awesome so I understand that hardcore fans want this show to work, but its just bad/corny/poorly written. But that is just my opinion - which shouldn't matter if you like the show
  10. I will actually be disappointed if the RF is just Wells ... if this is the case then it was far to obvious from the beginning. But again, I think there will be a major twist.
  11. I really like the cover to Wolverine 1 (1988 series) - but I think my favorite is Wolverine #10 (1988 series). If I could figure out how to post a pic I would
  12. Hulk 181 is not a movie hype book. Wolverine is Marvel's second most popular character and has been for some time. Regarding the drastic decrease in 9.8 copies - when they were selling north of 20K this was because there were so few 9.8's, as soon as more came on the market there was a swift downward adjustment in price. That being said the mid-high grade copies (8.0 - 9.2) have been increasing year over year and the lower grade copies (3.0 - 6.0) are also ballooning. That being said - buy what you like. Both GSXM 1 and Hulk 181 are incredible books IMO, but I am also a big X-Men fan so take that with a grain of salt
  13. I just don't think Wells is the "main" reverse flash/zoom - it is to easy/obvious. I think it is a future version of Eddie .... but we shall see.
  14. Is it possible that Wells is not zoom - but another speedster ina zoom costume (Wally?) and that a future version of Eddie is the Zoom who killed Barry's mom (hence why he didn't attack him in that one scene)?
  15. Stunning. Keep an eye on Adventure 260. A CGC 4.0 sold for $286 last month so it's following a similar trajectory as Showcase 30. I would love to see a "trajectory" on this book. I have been looking for a halfway presentable copy at any price for the past three months and not one has made it to market. This book may be too "rare" for speculative fever to ever reach it - you can't have a headlining sale if no book is ever sold. Just took a look at Ebay and yeah the pickings are very slim. Nothing on there that isn't falling apart! Wich one is more important ,Adventure 260 or Showcase 30? I would think Showcase 30
  16. I was assuming the piece moved was a Rook and with the position of his Knight it does make checkmate. Even if it is a rook (which it appears to be), the white knight could take the rook which would alleviate the "check" - so it is wrong. If the Rook was moved up one space to the white square then it would be checkmate. But no big deal - still a really good episode IMO. the video of the Wells move is him making a diagonal attack (which as you know rooks cannot move that way). So it has to be either a bishop (which would be even worse since it would not put the opponent in check) or a Queen -- which it hardly looks like as a piece BUT REGARDLESS-- the black knight can take the queen, stopping the assault WITHOUT putting the king is check by moving. I realize it is a minor point but I can just imagine some chess players watching this shaking their head. I don't remember if he was making a diagonal move - but if he was then you are correct that there would be no check unless it was a Queen, which it does not appear to be since then in the shot there would be two white queens (which is not impossible, but given the board is improbable). As mentioned if it is a Queen then the White Knight can eliminate the threat, unless the "queen" was moved up to the white square instead. Then it would be checkmate. I am going to give them a massive benefit of the doubt, assume somehow it is a Queen, and that in that shot they meant to move the Queen to the white square, but came up one square short That being said I had no problem with this shot in real time as I was not really focusing on the board. All of these shows are cheesy and can be picked apart easily - while it is fun sometimes to pick the show apart, it is more fun to suspend logical thought during them

  18. I just picked up a nice presenting 2.5 from the boards - but no photos yet
  19. I was wondering if all of you statue experts could tell me a good selling price for two of my statues: 2004 DC Direct Jim Lee Superman (the cover of Superman 204) - mint in its original box, with the COA 2004 DC Direct Jim Lee Batman (the cover of Batman 608) - mint in its original box, with the COA (I actually don't ever remember displaying this one) Note: both of them are the full-size versions. I have seen them on Ebay for various prices, but was just wondering what a fair selling price was for them as a set or separate.
  20. I agree that is is likely still undervalued. But my problem is trying to find a nice low grade copy - I have been searching and it has been very difficult. Just not as abundant as Silver Age marvel keys - But I guess that is part of the challenge
  21. Intriguing .... better than the first photos for sure
  22. +1 I am going to give Marvel the benefit of the doubt.
  23. Beautiful book! Thoughts on what it would take to purchase a 9.9 copy of this book (not asking about your copy just a copy in general)?
  24. Have to say last night's episode was pretty damn good! It was somewhat obvious in the beginning of the series that Wells would be the reverse Flash, but then it became too obvious, and then during the episode it seemed like Eddie, with a great twist at the end. Overall, well done although a bit confusing ... because I still don't know if it is Eddie or if it is Wells hahahaha
