  1. Saw it yesterday and thought it was OK. The movie lacked a real plot and was very very simple to follow. The acting was not great overall - But I thought Smith, Robbie, Davis and Leto (somewhat) were pretty good. Leto's Joker was ok - it is a tough role to play after Heath Ledger's portrayal - so I appreciate that they went a different direction with it. Capt. Boomerang was very annoying and served no purpose. Overall an OK movie, not good, not terrible - and if you shut your brain off for a couple of hours it was enjoyable Not as good as BvS (which I actually liked) or MOS (which I also liked).
  2. Superman 78 was so important, it was one of the first books that CGC ever slabbed. Does anyone know if this particular copy - the CGC sample slabbed 9.8 was sold? and if so, where I may be able to track it down? It's out there. This guy might be able to help... http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=29134&GSub=1534 I, myself, am on the hunt for Adventures 498 CGC 9.8. First book of the Funeral For A Friend, not counting Justice League 70. Thanks for the lead - book was sold awhile ago, and he has no idea where it is now If anyone knows please let me know

  4. I would be super into a 'Return of Superman' (NOT SUPERMAN RETURNS) like in the comics. Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, Steel, Superboy + Mullet Superman, guest starring Green Lantern. While I think it would be great it would be (1) too difficult a story line for them to tell (i.e., it would need multiple movies) and (2) I am betting Superman is back for JLA so no time to get a MOS2 movie done
  5. That would be great! I thought MOS was a good movie - so I am pumped for MOS2
  6. IM2, IM3 and AoU sucked large AoU did suck - I don't think people dispute that (do they?) Have not seen SS - but I hope it is at least enjoyable .... or at the very least paves the way for a Joker centered movie.
  7. I get your'e upset, but you're talking about things I'm not sure you have the power to influence...short of following the age old advice: you'll get more bees with honey. I've been very kind speaking to their staff over the phone, and in-person at the ship center it was addressed to. I've spoken with people just doing their job, who have been helpful on their end, who have in-turn received my thanks. I'm asking questions here to get feedback regarding my legal rights. If I'm not afforded any of the protection mentioned previously, I'd just like to be directed towards the laws/statutes that state so. People are often unaware of the legal rights they are provided with, so, they sit back and accept the worst of a situation. This page is important to me. Not just because I spent a lot of money to acquire it, but because I'm passionate about our hobby and this is Action #1. I feel for you - this is horrible and that was/is a sweet page. I still think it will show-up, but easy for me to say. If you really want answers to your legal questions it is likely best to speak to a lawyer locally. Legal advice on the internet in a forum is usually not going to be the most helpful and or reliable.
  8. Looks great! Agree with everyone on the lasso - just awesome!
  9. I had the same thought. But great trailer! The Wonder Woman trailer also looked great!
  10. Easy and fast transaction as always - highly recommended!
  11. Since timelines are all messed up/different in this series I have my fingers crossed for a Star Trek movie featuring the Borg
  12. Good communication and quick payment! Would definitely do business with again.
  13. Is this book in CGC low grade cooling (ie 1.0 - 2.0) - I haven't heard much lately on it? I hope it is so maybe I can afford a copy
  14. Pricing on the 4th and 5th print in CGC 9.8 are both well into the $350 range and sometimes more - I actually think the 4th print in CGC 9.8 is more expensive than the 5th print (but don't haveGPA right now to verify)
  15. Very nice! I need to get a MOS17 .... but then I will also need a 2nd print .... and a newsstand 1st print ..... blargh You might as well, prices appear to have cooled on #17, first and second prints! Fine - someone sell me a CGC 9.8 first and second print
  16. Agreed - all of the TTA27's are worthless without a TTA35 Although I would admittedly trade my TTA35 for a TTA27
  17. Is there anyway to tell how many Batman 497 CGC 9.8 copies exist that are Newsstand - without the black outer cover? Like this copy - but in 9.8 - I want one http://www.ebay.com/itm/121885778433?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  18. Very nice! I need to get a MOS17 .... but then I will also need a 2nd print .... and a newsstand 1st print ..... blargh
  19. Nicely done! I saw that when it was posted on Spencer's website and thought it was a great page!
  20. Page 10 from Issue #22 would be an awesome pick-up .... but out of my snack bracket
  21. Nice collection. But you need the 5th print. No need to keep answering the question "hey, where's the 5th print" whenever you show off the collection Ya I will probably cave and get the 5th print - but the 4th print has always been the pinnacle MOS18 to me (besides a CGC 9.9 first print)
  22. Well I just got this beauty in the mail last night - which completes my MOS18 CGC 9.8 set (1st Print Direct, 1st Print Newsstand, 2nd, 3rd and 4th print)! I am choosing right now to ignore the 5th print since it was printed a couple years later - i.e., not in the same time period of printings 1 through 4 - which I almost see as variants (but who knows maybe I will cave and get a 5th print )
  23. With talk of the R-Rated version being released in theatres - I am now a little hopeful that the box office suffers enough that they decide they have to release it Because I would 100% see the director's cut/rate R version in theatres Full disclosure - I thought the movie was good, not without its problems, but still good and very enjoyable
