You know? I guess that I knew that, but had to go back and relook to visualize it lol doh!

I guess I never said to myself, "that is a tank!" I was always looking at black widow haha, sad but true.

Who threw a tank? Or is it falling?

    I expect a , "it's rainy tanks gif!"

Since you asked - I had to go read the comic -

I don't think this one will hit MCU, lol -

So - Tony Stark randomly developed and anti gravity ray. Random? - yep - he was randomly throwing tech together and even he did not know how it worked and was not able to recreate it.  He dropped it and the wires fused - so no reverse engineering...

A photographer caught a pic - so widow finds out. She plans to steal it to get back in the good graces of the USSR as she failed them when attacking Iron Man.

She sends Tony a letter - trying to reconcile for trying to kill him ( in issue 52) --- of course she is hot so he agrees to meet.

She steals it - wrecks havoc - levitates several of his factories, including some tanks...

Tony does not know how the device works - but somehow he can build countermeasures into the armor.

    Iron man saves the day.

I'm a huge fan of the USPS - no kidding, however last few weeks I've had similar happen to me 3 times. Makes me think it's being done for rea$on$ even if we don't know them....

I will say that twice I managed to contact the distant locations (there were both small post offices) while my parcels were on their premises and both times they added overnight labels and I had next day.  Still I'm becoming very concerned as for me FEDEX and UPS are even more horrid thus no viable fall back carrier for my location.

I have had VERY few issues with USPS - this one I did not even really know about until I got the package back- in January.

Even then - the tracking information was not 'live' on the USPS site ( or ebay for that matter) - I was double checking yesterday and saw the update. I did not even open the box - just in case it was some long scam going on....

I think the Ebay buyer went straight though the insurance as the order is closed and all is going ( I wild make sure )

It is just funny to me the crazy amount of travel and that none of the scan ins triggered any sort of question/alternate actions ( you would think after the 1st 20 or so, some flag might be raised) .....

  3.

The power of solid packaging -

beat up a little - but this logged some serious miles on its trip - cardbopard box over cardboard chippers......

the only potential damage was removing the comic from in between the chippers - the blue tape had long since lost its "temporary" adhesion (after a while the adhesive stiffens up) - and it pulled the comoc bag apart.

  4. wow....... at least I got it back???

When still have not opened it - was waiting until I saw ANY tracking info ( nothing appeared initially when I typed it in ) - and lol - the last part when they say it was left with an individual - that is ( was in my mailbox)..  Opening tonight to check for damage - box is a little beat but now I know why......

This is an ebay sale - this buyer has purchased from me more than once so I know the address is good....

As an employee, I am able to contact people within the company.  Whereas, customers are only able to contact customer service.  I also have the ability to look up the status of a submission.  With this said, I do not have a magic ability to get a package located and opened on demand if it is not long overdue compared to others that have been entered.  We are currently running behind in getting submissions entered into the system.    However, If a package is long overdue in being entered into the system, (compared to others in the same tier that are into the system)  I can ask that people locate the package and have it entered.  One more thing.  TAT's start when the submission has been logged into our system.

So - as another pointed out, the red section is a source of major disconnect. The external web page clearly describes DELIVERED.  Not entered into system....

Nobody externally has good handle on how slammed receiving is or is not on any given day, so having this as an 'out' for posted lead-times being off is problematic when this is used as a tool to encourage paying more for faster service. Most will understand estimating - but even then, the estimates should not be without limits on accuracy and feedback to the customers.

Likely will fall on deaf ears - but realistically if CGC implemented a couple of simple fixes the system would be a lot more transparent and understandable.

First -  post your estimated time for receiving. Make sure it is clear that this is part of the estimated lead-times. A weekly update as you stated- this should be a very easy update to make.

If orders are late ( set a target as like 3-5 days beyond estimates ) - be proactive contact the customer. Once tracking stats - is a very simple calculation to see expected completion date - and where the order sits. Proactively email the customer and keep them in the loop. Way easier to send out 10-20 emails then have to talk to those same people on the phone. Some will still call - but PUSHING the information back to a customer that you are missing targets with a real reason, is significantly better than having frustrated customers PULL or request the information from a customer service rep who likely will not be able to provide a real status.....

    I appreciate all your information.

I've never bought a older book (Mostly Modern books), I wasn't sure if the grader notes were bad or normal for this type of book. I also seen his previous reviews and was wondering why for the negative reviews and lack of comments.

Well - the notes are normal for older books - but you also need to take a good look over the book to see if you like that book with the specific defects in that grade....

example - same age book - 9.2 grade I just got back

    Comic Description:
Fantastic Four 49 4/66 Marvel Comics

    Grader Notes:
    light tanning interior cover
light, multiple crease front cover breaks color
    very light wear all corners

now - these defects are very light - but some might see the tanning and skip/ not pay top dollar for the comic based on this specific defect.
