Question : If one of the Cap 1's discussed above is put up for sale and sells for 1M does that jettison it into Tier 1 ??

Is there a Flash Comics 1 that would hit the 1M mark ? Can't remember if the 9.6 was a church book … If it's not I have to assume that it would not hit $1 million today Maybe 750 K?

I would have to think that the Cap 1 9.8 would be a million dollar book., The same goes for Verzyl's AA 16

Verzyl's highest graded AA 16 made me think about this------don't know of a public/pvt sale of a GA 1M plus on any book other than AC 1 & Tec 27 . Has there been one? Title ? Also, what book and grade out there do you see garnering a 1M payday IF put up for sale?

G.A. tor, What's your best guess as to how many copies of AA16 survived ? Curious as well as to your thoughts on the following: If the highest AS 8 on the census recently sold for 411k (yes tied with another 9.0 ) what do you think Verzyl's lone high copy would garner ?

No doubt but personally I still consider it the characters first appearance. I'm intrigued by both those books ( the scarcity or rareity ) only adds to their appeal for me. Their addition to comic history and 2 cool covers. My gut tells me in the next 3 years both these books will take on a brand new momentum.

So the discussion is not over On a aside, there are 6 Bats 1's on EBay not to mention a back cover and single pages--hard to get excited when there are so many copies ready available. Great and important book with a classic cover (yes) but still not the first appearance of B & R so it can't match Cap for my $. FIrst appearance Robin and the Joker---that's different........

Is the Bats a pedigree book ? 9 months in between sales ? I'm not saying 100 k difference just pointing out apples to apples
