  2. Please note these are brittle pages as designated by CGC. Would your answer be different to have a professional, cleaning service do these such a CCS ??
  3. I threw up on my dad's freind Ronnie Simon after eating at Big Boys in Omaha, NE
  4. I was just reading that the scarcity index on this book is a 9
  5. http://m.ebay.com/itm/201970197540 the old PGX copy ( I believe I can mention them ?) moved to a Voldy slab. Assume this will sell this time.
  6. Finally saw this with Ben Affleck. Loved the scene where he is hiding original Renoirs , Pollacks, and Gold Bars. Anna Kendrick finds this out and opens a drawer abc there are mint copies of Action 1 and All American 16. Sooo cool. Wonder why they went with the AA 16 over the Tec 27 ? Rarity ??
  7. Tony Curtis told the best Yvonne DeCarlo story in history !!
  8. True. My point was there just aren't a lot of opportunities or options with . 5 Universal Flash 1. 3 on the census and 31 total in all universal grades. It's not like an AF 15 where you can wait for the "right one ".
  9. For me trimmed, cover cleaned, and interior lightened are a no-no. If it can't be reversed than that is too much restoration for me at this time
  10. Have you ever considered purchasing a single page from the book then? Many Cap stories to choose from as you know. The 27th page has some excellent action panels
  11. True, it's just that Flash 1's in any condition are hard to come by (restored or not) There are 3 .5 Universal copies on the census and this one from Voldy makes it #4 so we are talking about 4/31 or so Universal copies (census wise)
  12. Those sure are Purdy! Thanks guys for posting and commenting. What do you think a .5 (no back cover) would fetch these days?
  13. Thank you both! Would you agree with that assessment? How many do you think survived ? (did I hear correctly that the print run was like 900,000 or 1 M ???) Thant's seems so large......
  14. I'll start if off (thank you to everyone who has the journals in advance and are willing to help out !) Captain America Comics #1
  15. I don't remember seeing pence books discussed like I have in the Silver Age forum.....
  16. MF 73 question please : Either the Aquaman or the Green Arrow story at the start of the issue or the last story ? Love the book but without a cover appearance I'm just not as interested in purchasing one unless I could find a coverless copy and one of 2 of the stories were visable in the encapsulation ( just my preference ). Prefer Aquaman over Green Arrow as well.......( I have a lot of requests for this book ) According to what I was able to find on the net is appears Aquaman is the last story but even so I was wondering if there was an ad after the story, etc.
