Bit surprised that Ian re-used the inside front cover from All-American #4 for the back cover of faux DA 1, as it was already used as the back cover to the actual DA 2. Guess the images on the inside front covers of All-American #2 or 3 were not that exciting to use for the DA 1 creation.

@Ian_Levine I would love to hear more about the Double Action 1 creations.  Did you try to go with the contents that might have been sequential prior to the DA2? I believe I read that Occult may have been your favorite....

Will be interesting to see if the DC Universe Collection has a raw DA #1 creation for auction. May be cheaper to snipe that rather than cut up one's own stack of coverless pre-hero More Fun's Dr. Occult stories, Photoshop them in b/w then print your own 8 copies with a color front cover.

As a normal comic book fan that enjoys the movies will enjoy it?
I am not looking to nitpick about origins or CGI. Is it worth seeing

I enjoyed 'The Flash' since I liked Superman: Man of Steel movie with Zod. Not sure how few movie screens are left showing The Flash. Seems to lose Warner Bros. Studios $200 mil even after $150 mil advertising budget.

These All-American issues are very cool, and I seldom see them posted!!! That #4 in particular is nearly impossible to find. I saw a low grade. I didn't know how rare it actually was, so I let it slip away. SOMEONE bought it though.

Maybe collectors aren't slabbing issue 4 because it has the baseball back cover image from Double Action #2? The other ad like page from DA 2 is spendy, as it is attached to Tec #27 front cover.

So, question to the Box Office experts here:

When you get a film with a reported $290M take, that's gross receipts correct? And movie theaters make 40% of the ticket sale (I just Googled that, I don't know for sure). And it seems the budget for producing the film is $200M.

If the studios were expecting this to be a big payday and it's the opposite, I can see how it really puts everyone into a tailspin, especially with all the other companies involved.

But u forgot to factor in the int'l ad budget which may be an extra $175M to $200M. Now 'The Flash' has been pulled from movie theaters b4 the 4th of July and Canada Day (July 1) long weekend potential viewership.

Note I'm pretty sure the margins have been trimmed down but all the art is still there.
