  1. Here's one I just got at Motor City. I put it on the "Please Grade" section and would love the 100Pager experts opinions. This is an upgrade to a VG copy I owned since I was a kid. Thought it was great when I was younger because of the Injustice League battle. [/img]
  2. As long as your happy, that's all that matters in this regard.
  3. Congratulations! Hope you got it for a good price.
  4. There's no end to the X-Quality. I think my #33 is in great shape but not sure it's that great.
  5. Good looking books. I bought JLA #111 today to replace my old VG one. I'll scan it in later.
  6. Back to Grider's post, those are some great books! I have the action and JLA's, but surely not 9.4's or better. I'll have to PGM them in the Grading area sometime.
  7. I know... I know... It was a long time ago. Nothing wrong with that. Nostalgia helps keep the hobby humming. (Just wait for the 90's variant nostalgia in 15 years.
  8. Though I'm not as competitive as some here and wouldn't pay the prices these HG 100 pagers are currently going for, the format brings home the nostagia more than any other of the Bronze Age in my opinion. The Marvel GS issues come a close 2nd. They were a great value for a kid, 100 pages for 50/60 cents. Didn't matter they were mostly filled with reprints. I remember them fondly and have taken that into my adult collecting phase. I suspect others of the same age do so as well. The demand for these doesn't surprise me whatsoever. It'a also a neat and tidy collecting niche for collectors to complete and beats trying to collect a complete title which could run hundreds of issues. Jim Well said.
  9. I think I have a grand total of about 11 DC 100 Pagers with about 4 doubles in lesser shape. (All the JLA's with doubles and 1 Action and about 4 WF's. ) And I doubt any of the ones I consider in "nice" shape are a 9.4. Impressive lot everyone.
  10. Those are some beauties! (Besides the women... )
  11. So that's #1. You know, I can't recall ever seeing that issue. Thanks for sharing.
  12. 8.5 here, 9.4 there, pretty soon, we're talking some serious stuff.
  13. Great looking book! This one was my 1st "old" X-Men book I got back around 1980. Of course, mine's not a 9.4, just a 7.0 or so.
  14. Both of those books look great! I didn't have time last night to check out the VCC. Maybe I will today.
  15. Wow! Amazing how a book that old can stay that pristine. Nice buy!
  16. Great looking copy! Funny thing is, the coloring problem on Spidey's face always bugs me about this issue.
  17. Nice book and a great Adams cover. The Martian Manhunter's head is a little odd shaped but I let it pass.
  18. I love the short run of Byrne issues. I think I have a run from the 160's to the early 200's. Great memories.
  19. Here's a cool cover... [/img] And the oldest I own so far... [/img] Once I complete JLA & X-Men, I can see Avengers moving up on my Want List.
  20. Great looking book! Funny thing though, the Knight's head must be crammed in that helmet. It's a "bit" off anatomically-speaking.
  21. Great looking book! Too bad it's not a SA X-book.
