  1. Personally I feel if anyone if getting a tattoo for fashion and not for themselves then they should not be getting a tattoo at all. They have plenty to choose from already. They can choose those shirts with tattoo looking sleeves, temporary tattoos, henna, airbrush, and I'm sure others. I definitely wouldn't support a new creation. I'd even pass if a new pain free real tattoo was created. It's all part of the rite of passage IMO.
  2. Correction: I did regret getting my rib cages done with every being of my body but that was only during the fact. Goodness gracious my body was not meant for that pain! Even temporary pain.
  3. I have zero regrets for any of my tattoos, not even the one I laser we off. What mine represent to me were apart of my life for a long time before getting the tattoos though. I know tattoo regret is very popular but have a feeling many here on the boards won't have any comic related tattoo regrets other than possibly choosing the wrong artist who may have lacked the skill for the task. I've yet to see any of those posted though. Nowadays tattoo removal is growing more and more popular for many reasons. A bad tattoo to begin with, an ex's name, tattoo location, or the fun one of fading the ink to get something new. I've come across a few artists who decided to get laser treatment with the main purpose of getting new tattoos. One even stated he'd probably laser the new ones off in a few years to get more new ink. Just like a painting on the wall. Well, sort of. I'd rather smash my finger with a hammer hanging a picture over exstensive laser treatment any day.
  4. Jared purchased an Amazing Fantasy 15 from me and it was a stellar experience. The entire transaction was completed and delivered on one page of a PM, extremely impressive for an AF15! From start to finish the transaction was a shining example of a transaction due to his extreme professionalism and prompt payment. Five stars across the boards! Thanks again Jared! Kelly
  5. What's not to get? Sales in wrong areas. Absurd crapping on numerous occasions. Trolling for press/cleaning clients. PGM post for an already listed book that was self graded already. Hi Swick! The thread has been scrubbed and the post to which Harvey and the others referred to is gone; I forget the poster's handle. That said.... Something involving Copper, I believe What age is everyone's kids ? I have two daughters, one seven and one six mont....wait a second...I see what you did!

  7. Thanks Chris (thumbs u I'll give the trade a shot, the art really appeals to me as well.
  8. Does thread crapping result in strikes? (I have no idea in general about strikes) I've seen some extremely absurd posts in sales threads and was just curious.
  9. Normally I am a huge fan of Bruce Timms work. That Gwen though is another story.
  10. All four employees at my shop all said something similar. I read it and felt broken. I'm not too sure if it was my mood or if the language used by the dogs rubbed me the wrong way or what. I'll give it another read. I've had pets my entire life so was sure it would get me and nada.
  11. I was going to post this, and then saw that I already did. Okay, Animal Man 1-26 will be added to the short list I have going!
  12. It's been a few months since I've asked the boards. My LCS raved about WE 3 by Morrison and Quitely and for some reason I just didn't connect with it. I've been reading a much larger number of trades lately and would love some more feedback as my stack is getting low. Any recent series or trades come out or ones to recommend that can classify as emotionally stimulating that I may have missed? If it has the possibility to make a grown man cry even better, I like to have a diversity of reads on hand and am empty on ones that rank among I Kill Giants.
  13. the 90 day GPA is $1863. Last sale was $1950. Feel free to check it out, it's a great site. http://comics.gpanalysis.com/
  14. I also feel the AF cover has run its course. If this was a competition the Strode artist just destroyed the competition. That thing is done extremely well!
  15. No such thing as ordering too many BKV books Jeff! It's BKV! Well unless you went nuts on the We Stand on Guard mini.
  16. I didn't give that much thought. Those numbers seam high to me. You may be right though. He does have a very solid reputation. I would toss out a 50k number just because I feel the book doesn't scream Saga sales to most if I had to guess how the ordering went. I'm really excited to read it. BKV is without a doubt my favorite writer right now.
  17. It's a possibility shops didn't order as many as a BKV continued series may demand. The title and art may not have grabbed the attention on order day. I personally was a little skeptical by the title and art but BKV books always seem to have very fitting art on them. From the little preview I posted in the first post it's a safe assumption it's not going to be the kiddie book some may have thought it may be.
