I'm intrigued, I honestly no nothing about what goes on in sites like those. Apparently I like to gamble since one anniversary box should have been enough. I know some use a site that generates winners of auctions. May be useful to you to look into that as well.

How are those monitored to know without a shadow of doubt that the "winner" is not just a friend of the individual holding the raffle and not later sold and profits split or something? In no way am I thinking you would do such a thing. Just wondering if it is all on the up and up from other auction holders.

What is so funny? Maybe it's not truly a 1:5 or 1:10 scenario? Some offer retailers a choice of what covers they want. I don't know, maybe a retailer can comment. I've seen this happen not too long ago on a few books.

I'm very sorry to read the deal was canceled. Yet I am happy to know it was refunded and not a scam that lead to a huge headache. It would be really unfortunate if someone snaked in with a larger offer on a agreed upon sale. Very unacceptable IMO. In regards to the posts that may trigger seller or buyers regret such as the "Oh man, wish I didn't buy mine last week for several hundred more" or "Wow! What a steal!" posts. Is it a possibility to create a forum etiquette to be placed in the noob or sales thread? Forgive me if it exists yet I couldn't locate one. A simple "Congrats to the buyer and seller" seams more than enough to me.

Paper prices haven't rose this fast. All prices seem to be going higher. I'm going to go it's the "Why not charge more! Look at what out other recent titles are being hyped up to be and sold for on eBay!" aspect.

Rodney recently purchased a slab from me and the entire transaction could not have been smoother. The box was damaged and the slab received a crack, we speculate the USPS landed the plane in Hawaii on the box . He was extremely understanding and we resolved the issue in a matter of minutes.
