  1. You may have a point. It may very well be more desirable than most yet I'd still sell now while the most amount of eyes are on them and before more similar to his pop up. Personally I can't fully understand the reasoning of people dropping $100+ on them. Especially on some of the ones listed. It's a grown mans absurd sketches With 1000 made? Out of a print run of ?
  2. Selling it now is best IMO. Most moderns rarely continue to heat up. Rather they sell in 9.8 for what they were selling for during the new thing of the week prices.
  3. Awe man, just when I thought this was not going to be dragged out and as annoying as weeding through "Like CGC" sales on eBay.
  4. I gotta say James. Your love and enthusiasm for TWD makes me happy! I think it's awesome.
  5. Poking the bear If anyone can find a flaw in this Jay will and I appreciate him for that and exposing other books that are being manipulated. (Not saying this is manipulated at all). TEC JAY don't play! Yes, I believe that's his new name. He just doesn't know it yet.
  6. When comparing sample sizes and the price difference it almost appears the $300 or so average difference is pretty on the mark percentage wise IMO.
  7. Nothing. They are just asking. Pretty sure they are not selling any where near that.
  8. Bravo, I applaud the work you put into this bffnut! It's really cool to see broken down this way. Curious to know how many sales were not labeled B or W label and went for an average GPA price at the time of sale compared to if it was labeled B or not. I've personally seen a few B labels that were not listed as such and went for the ballpark average for a 9.8 To me, I'd love either one in my PC, yet I'm holding out for the James Collection. It's like Pedigree but much more elite as I'm sure you all know what it will take to get his into the publics hands
  9. We can say that?! I swear I think you just stumbled on a glitch in the matrix
  10. Here is The Beast SS, the other SS w/o sketch has signatures placed almost identical.
  11. Hopefully a few more updates come in and we can update it. I have a feeling a few have been slabbed, and or sold. Even possibly to one another . I'm shifting my PC and moving away from SS so the SS and The Beast SS may be released into the wild.
  12. I wonder what a full set could go for? I'd guess less than if they were broken up and sold during the high point for each cover, yet that's come and gone for a few. Come movie time I think most collectors would already have the ones they want the most and with a few more to come before the movie the previous covers will dip a bit by then. Just my opinion. Do you think the C2E2 B&W Luke Sketch cover has already peaked? I feel that's a question best left for others in this thread. IMO it may be one of the few with staying power, along with Boba.

  14. Safe assumption this pic was not taken by Enormous producer Adrian Askarieh in his home? https://mobile.twitter.com/hashtag/EnormousComicBook?src=hash
  15. And he kept the 5 or so colored Boba Fetts 9.9's for himself and listed those on ebay. Since he made so much bank off the books and over charging for shipping if he did have that many as I can't confirm. It would have been very cool of him to give back a little and hold a free contest for one of them. They are listed on his site now, http://www.moregreatart.com/store/star-wars-4-boba-fett-action-figure-variant/ Aahhhhhhhhhhh My eyes! My eyes!! It burns!!! I thought they were CGC prior to the click.

  17. For Star Wars I'd love to see one of these done. Preferably as beat looking as this box. It would have to be sideways but still very cool.
  18. Shame on me for not thinking of that! A Skybound NYCC 2015 box with the following action cover variants. #1 Rick AF, #1 Zombie AF, #19 Mich's Zombie double pack, #19 Mich, #27 Gov and a mystery 5th would be awesome. That would be complete madness. I wonder if we build it (trend the demand) it will come!?!? Even better they could be all black or white covers and only able to be seen under black light. Now that would take them a step above the AF cover masses!
  19. My apologies, I meant to clarify that anything/anyone is a candidate. Not only within the Star Wars world.
  20. Quick questions for the action figure collectors. I have not personally picked up any of them besides the Spread action figure yet it's been pretty crazy to see the quickness of the Boba sales. I was thinking of what/who could possibly be next to be the next craze for these and was stumped. Maybe if enough people agree it can become a reality for those who are linked to creators? Is Boba the height of the action figure covers? Who would you feel could top Boba in regards to what they are selling for and speediness of a sale with a similar print run? (This under the assumption Boba has been the highest seller because I'm not certain)
  21. Oh my goodness, can you imagine the uproar if CGC up and decided that was the case and started putting Second Print on the labels. Holy anarchy.
  22. Forgive my ignorance, does it matter which has more or less at this point? I gather less black labels exist yet it does not gain a substantial amount more per sale than a white label. If any more at all at times. Just sensing this will go back and forth in circles until (very unlikely) facts are provided by the powers that be that white labels print run is X and black labels print run is X. Until then I say buy which you prefer and enjoy it!
  23. Doubtful, pretty sure he turned them into a bed of money.
  24. True. He does not need to unless it's in his deal for doing the variant. (Not my world). Offering them cheap could be a smart ploy to add to the interest. Him seeing greed is one way of looking at it. Another is his last online sale selling out, you know, when they were exploding on eBay yet he had stacks in Chicago if I recall correctly. I swear all this Tex-Mex is making me paranoid, or incredible truth visions.
