But don't they normally go for about 275?
I've seen $1000 books go for $500 and $500 go for $1000. That site makes no sense. You get two stubborn buyers get ready to watch the fireworks.

Bought a few raw books from Cheesefrog. Well packaged and in solid shape. Wouldn't hesitate to make a purchase in the future. Thanks!

I see lots of vol.2 #1's sitting on shelves collecting dust right now.
As you noted, we're doing all we can to make sure people are aware of the book and to give it a shot. #1 is free on Comixology and #2-6 got a strong price reduction digitally. More to come with that. We're leading the horse to water...
they were all sold in my area... and not all by me ... so its got some traction in colorado =)
My shop doesn't get any extras but there are now 5 people including myself that have Enormous on their pull list. Not bad for a little shop in nowhere Iowa..

Been looking at budget scanners ($100 or less). Are there any models one can recommend for cgc scans? I'm running windows 10.

A sign of life!
Today (day #107) my MST books moved to Quality Control.
This is a joke.

Bought a book from me and paid lightning fast. Was a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Roger again. Thanks

I will never charge for a signature. I don't care what the scenario entails. Never. I'll sign anything and everything. Least I can do for those willing to support my creative dreams.
Thank you..

If you look at his feedback a month ago an Avengers Annual 10 got up to $117. can't tell if it is the same one as here. the seller left feedback, but that doesn't mean anything i suppose. 5 feedback buyer.
I'd bet anything it is. He sold me a '9.8' copy of a book that was a 9.0-9.2 at best. When I messaged him he said he'd offer a partial refund. Asked me what would it take for me to keep the book. I sent the book back, he then lied and said the book was returned damaged. I was on the phone with Ebay for an hour to get the matter resolved and they even stated there was multiple complaints on that account. Sad part is Ebay has done nothing about it and probably will do nothing about it. Avoid his auctions at all cost.
Why were you "on the phone with eBay for an hour"?
The drones at eBay have nothing whatsoever to do with resolving disputes, and no one is allowed to talk to "dispute resolution" directly.
Why didn't you simply file a "request a refund", and wait for the process to work itself out? That would have taken all of a minute or so. And how do you know the book wasn't actually damaged in return shipping?
I haven't heard of eBay siding with a seller on a "Not as described" claim since 2006 or so. You don't like the item, the seller has no choice but to take it back. You can even occasionally get eBay to foot the bill for return shipping.
Wasting an hour on the phone with eBay drones accomplishes nothing. It is nearly impossible for a buyer to have eBay decide against them in a "not as described" claim.
Because he opened a claim and it ruled in his favor immediately. I had to talk to an individual eventually to explain my side of the story. I havent bought a lot of high dollar stuff off ebay so i wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. It was a Daredevil 131 that looked immaculate in the pictures but all the imperfections were covered over. You think Ebay maybe put a lot of their policies in place because of the shady sellers you speak of?

If the sale is legit the buyer on the strange tales 169 will be very disappointed. The seller is a worthless POS that uses camera angles to deceive buyers. That's a NM- copy at best.

Fastest payer west of the Mississippi! All jokes aside, the man does pay extremely fast and is just a pleasure to deal with in general. One of the most polite people to talk to on the boards. Welcome back any time!

I had a graded 9.6 copy listed on Feebay for about a month and had a lot of resistance at the $500 mark. The offers were around $350-400 and few and far between. I saw quite a few sold listing at the $600+ mark and have a hard time believing they were legit. I finally ended up selling the book here on the boards for around that $500 mark.
I let my 9.6 fly on eBay about 3 months back and it sold for $510. legit sale. so I would say that is the mark for 9.6 copies.
Agreed

http://comicsheatingup.net/2015/07/07/variant-envy-enormous-7-hoknes-comics-variants/#more-9389
This sadly might be the variants that breaks the completest back of mine. #7 now has more variant covers then there are issues in the series, not bad thing per say just might be to much for me to invest in for completion.
Standard retailer issues it is for me
^this. No way I'm dropping $50 on every new #1 variants.

No I don't like it- and I don't think it is good enough to be a show. I never stated otherwise though.
If you go back in the thread, I made this complaint after issue 4 or so. I'm amazed it still hasn't hit issue 7 either. That was months ago. I'm glad I jumped ship.
Well.. bye..
