I think there is a synergy between books on price changes. Sometimes the later books draw up the price of the key, other times the key draws up the prices of the later books. Hard to know which is happening at any given time but I do personally believe that's how it works.

I watched it. Wasn't too impressed. I think people are watching it just to expect something similar to the Marvel movies happen.

It's my old copy. Sad to see it go as it's been my fave for years. I've never seen a 1940 book look that nice. It literally blows you away in hand. George was the first guy to ask me about it when I first got it so when I got serious about selling I figured his collection was the best place for it. I'd love to get it back one day.

We respond to faces. Just think about how some automobiles actually have a personality when you look at the front end of the car. Kirby was brilliant in trying to evoke a reader's response through his story telling. He wasn't always the best at facial expressions admittedly and yet in the case of the monsters he probably realized that a monster with some humanistic expression was more menacing than just a cold faced insectoid or lizard. That scarlett beetle wouldn't have been nearly as effective if it was just a cold, expressionless insect. Brilliant stuff.

There were probably several 100,000 copies printed. Like if I had to guess, I'd say 300,000 or more. 2000 graded copies does not sound like a lot considering most people who collect comics would probably like a copy. That's just my
