  1. " The fee for CGC Grader Notes varies based on the tier the comic book or magazine was submitted under. " why?
  2. You don't need a special printer (or paper). Any printer will do.
  3. Just saw it. A couple of thoughts... - Loved it when Happy threw the shield. - Throughout the whole movie I kept thinking that Fury was behaving like more of an ahole than usual. The I saw the ACS & wondered if he was supposed to come across like that. - Was there a Stan cameo? Liked the movie. Liked Endgame better. IMDB has a quote by (don't know) saying it's "the best superhero movie of the year". Endgame was better. I'm not using spoiler tags. If you haven't seen the movie yet, why are you reading page 22 of this thread?
  4. Whenever I submit an offer or counteroffer, I always include a message - but never quote GPA or past sales, nor, in any way, tell the buyer/seller that they're wrong.
  5. Why, that little so-n-so. Kids these days...just can't keep their hands off stuff. "Don't touch" means "don't touch". Surprised he didn't bust into Bruce's liquor cabinet.
  6. Just curious... I was wandering thru Ebay today and noticed that CGC lists Batman #457 as "1st appearance of Tim Drake as Robin", while listing Batman #442 as "1st appearance of Timothy Drake in Robin costume". I was hoping someone could explain the difference to me ... my brain was starting to hurt trying to figure it out.
  7. Always have offered returns. Never had a book returned. I've never understood why anybody wouldn't take returns.
  8. Curious if it was ever explained what caused the zombie apocalypse.
  9. What is the advantage of a seller listing the exact same comic as a BIN and auction at the same time? 1 2
  10. Got 4 books back Friday. No rings.
  11. Bought a DD #16 for $202 in September. Sent it down to Joey and CGC ... it came back a 9.4 in March. Sold it for $1500 in April.
  12. Raw books for PC. Slabs for books to sell. A = cost of comic B = cost of grading C = value of slabbed comic If C is greater than A+B, it gets slabbed.
  13. Hulk Powers & Abilities: Shapeshifting, Healing factor, Superhuman speed, Superhuman strength, Reality warping I knew about the strength and healing, but not the others. They must've come after I stopped reading it.
  14. Well, I got it ...kinda When I got home from work, I tried one more time ... no go. I called CS. She said that because I renewed, I had to logoff & log back in. I said "OK. Thank you." Hung up and did what she said...nope. Called back and spoke to someone else. She told me to clear cookies and cache. "OK.Thank you" Hung up and did what she said...nope. By this time, CGC was closed so I couldn't call back. As a last resort, I logged on using Chrome (I always use Firefox)...success!
  15. Tried a few more times today ... no go. I know that I entered my card number correctly because I checked the online statement and it's been charged for the renewal. I get all the way thru the process, but on the final page the 'submit' button is greyed out and I can't click it. Phone call tomorrow.
  16. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Don't think so though, been submitting for years with no problems. Did renew last night ... maybe that's the problem?
  17. Quick followup... Refunded already. Seller just wanted the tracking number. There's still good people out there.
  18. I think I'll bypass Ebay this time ... I don't feel like being an ahole. If I get taken, I get taken. There's Karma, and all that.
  19. For the sake of argument, let's assume he's not trying to rake me. (He seems like a nice guy) Is there any other reason to want to bypass Ebay?
  20. I'm sending a book back. The seller says to just send it back and he'll send the refund ... without going thru Ebay. Is this normal/ok?
  21. This is welcome information. Is this documented anywhere on the site?
