  1. What'd he say when you asked him about it?
  2. It really is a shame that debris in your case has become commonplace. It's more of a shame that it's been going on for so long. It seems like, to me anyway, that the longer these QC issues go on, the more certain we can be that CGC just doesn't give a rats ...
  3. I seem to recall reading many moons ago about people buying their bags/boards from some site with the word 'baseball' in the name.
  4. Weren't you going to buy this set a few weeks ago? Fell through?
  5. <-------- ignorant in these matters Without revealing any info about the transaction, can you (or anyone) explain why the owner would ask this?
  6. Just curious, and maybe @CGC Mike is allowed to answer... Is the reason all these quality issues aren't being corrected/prevented because it would cost CGC too much to do so?
  7. Does it cost anything to have you guys crack it out?
  8. With the number of incidents regarding plastic shards, they have to know where they're coming from, and you'd think they would've fixed the problem a long time ago.
  9. Individually, they're bad, but not overly. When they're all happening at the same time, it's very bad. I freely admit to being ignorant in the ways of running a business, but this seems doesn't seem right.
  10. Sheesh...6 months Plus you gotta figure they were about 2 months behind in opening packages at that time. So your wait was probably closer to 8 months. Snow delays be damned, 8 months is too long.
  11. 18 books total. Not a single issue with the slabs ... no rings, no scuffs, no shards, nothing.
  12. My nephew is heading over this afternoon so we can open the 2 boxes we got back from CGC a couple of weeks ago. I'll report back later.
  13. If people want to do this, I also wouldn't care one bit. I can only surmise that just the people who are involved with that registry thing would be concerned about this.
  14. If it was graded as 9.8, and the cover was ripped when it arrived, how can there be any doubt that the damage occurred after it was graded?
  15. Just a thought ... is it becoming more of a job than a hobby for you guys? Maybe just step back from the business part of it and refocus on the collecting. Might bring the smiles back.
  16. I'm really behind on the news. What's the story with the Promise Collection?

    Storage

It's like CGC drew the diagram.

    Storage

After hearing opinions, for years, on how comics should be stored, it is my opinion that, no matter how they are stored, there is a reason for doing it some other way.
