  1. Thanks, I was able to get it earlier this year from another collector. It took a couple of months for my framer to fit me in since I wanted the whole archival treatment and she was busy. I have one or two more LD covers I would like to purchase, but with OA you never know when/if they are going to be available. A Kaluta or Wrightson cover would be awesome, but they are out of my league price-wise. I just saw Kaluta's HOM 201 cover has gone back up for grabs on comicart-l. Asking price is somewhere north of 5 Gs... The HOM 201 cover is one of my favorites; I love the baby demon's expression. But, 5k is pretty pricey. Is that a realistic price range for his covers?
  2. Here's a nice Zombie cover...unfortunately, two interior pages are torn/missing.
  3. Silver/Gold Mylite2s will have a pretty good amount of extra space on the books post-1970. I'd use the Standard size plus Silver/Gold Mylars. But, I don't like my books to have too much extra space.
  4. Damn...sounds like I bought from the West Coast Comics Cartel... Jim Exxxxcellent! We're out to take over the comic world...one mid to high grade Bronze book at a time.
  5. Jim, you're very welcome. Actually, the MJ inserts were co-owned by Jbud, FFB, Jimm94, and myself. But, the previous National Diamond insert was mine.
  6. Just gotthis one, looking forward to siting down and reading it:
  7. Looks like mechanical implants to me. But that's the only one with the side view. On the other guys, they don't look like implants (look at the guy to the left threatening the woman, or the guy who's about to be thrown. They don't look like goggles or implants.
  8. Very, very sweet books, Donut! Congrats on 8k posts, and I knew you'd have great scans to share.
  9. A more detailed answer will have to wait until I get home from work tonight, but I believe their eyes are natural, and that they're each shooting out beams. Jeff
  10. Fiction House's are great! I also really like that Fight #31. I've posted this before, but not recently. Here's my one and only Fiction House, Planet #10:
  11. FFB, Great looking book. So what would you grade it? Any hidden defects?
  12. Here's another Little Lulu, as my contribution to this great thread. Four Color 146:
  13. I also bought two FF#52s recently. I still need an ASM#52. I had to send back a raw VF/NM that I bought recently because it was overgraded. You could have had a nice CGC 9.2 Spidey #52, but you didn't want my book. Cheap [#@$%!!!]. I don't remember seeing that one on Saturday. I offered it to you in a PM, but you passed. I then listed it on Comiclink, where it sold quickly.

  15. Recently slabbed. I purchased this raw last fall...knew it had a good shot at a 9.8. Top Census!
  16. From Mister_Comics, here's the first page of the Dennis learns about Poison issue:
  17. Tim, It took you this long to sign up for photobucket?!? Does this mean you got a new scanner and can now show off some more of your books?
  18. Holy Moley, that's a fantastic piece of art! This is quickly becoming one of the best threads on the boards. All these ducks are bringing back memories of summer family car trips where my parents would buy my brother and I comic books to keep us occupied.
  19. Same here. I loved the GS Avengers. As a kid, the Avengers were my favorite title, and the Vision was my favorite.
  20. I didn't know how many you had...I finally got around to scanning the book.
  21. I can finally post in this thread! A raw Green River to call my own. This has a non-color breaking bend near the top staple, otherwise super clean and fresh!
  22. Does anyone know anything about this one? I'm just hosting the scan for Mister_Comics. Cool book.
  23. Wow! This is one of the best threads ever. I'm absolutely blown away by all of these great books, in pristine condition!
