    I ordered Star Wars High Republic #1 from them. It never arrived (tracking shows that it was shipped and stopped moving somewhere in New Jersey.) I contacted them and they refunded me. So not sure how well they pack, but at least they're good on customer service in regards to shipping.

    The $1 sales were likely Bad Idea retailers selling copies on eBay for the Bad Idea-mandated price of no more than cover price. After that day, they had to return unsold copies, so the only sales would be flippers, who are of course going to mark everything up.

    It really bothers me that the logo isn't aligned with the circle. After noticing that, I noticed that the circle isn't centered horizontally on the cover, the logo isn't centered horizontally on the cover, the logo isn't centered horizontally between the price box and the right side of the cover, and, for some reason, "ARE BACK!" is more aligned with the circle than the logo.

    I didn't really pay attention to when the sales were when I searched.

    Bad Idea sent out an email yesterday indicating that they booted another retailer, but they didn't indicate who or why. Would be nice if they at least indicated who, so anyone planning on getting their books at that retailer can make other arrangements.

    I guess stores won't be able to do this with Pizza Detective, cuz that would be a sign that they didn't return unsold copies.

    Also, I don't think Bad Idea made these available to order. If I'm not mistaken, they just shipped them out to stores.

    I'm just saying that's when I noticed it. Obviously New Avengers pre-dates that by a bit. Not sure when incentives became the norm though.

    I'm looking into this myself. From what I can tell, Marvel made incentives a big part of ordering the relaunch of the Avengers franchise. That might be a good place to look. But I didn't really notice it being a regular thing until Valiant's relaunch (because that was the focus of what I was buying)
