  2. I agree about the prices generally once there's a hint that there might be demand. But for books under the radar I've gotten some really good prices for them. In addition to some Milestones before they got hot, I got a good number of Quantum & Woody #1s from them.
  3. Just checked, and I paid $3.75 5 years ago for mine. Should have bought more.
  4. The Worlds Collide, do you mean? I got mine from Mile High not so long ago (but for a lot cheaper than what they're asking now); https://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action-list&title=97493778408&snumber=1
  5. Maybe I think that just because of personal experience. I picked up 10 or more second prints when they came out. Only have my one 1st print. I figured we don't see as many second prints because they're not as valuable so people don't bother selling
  6. Ti be fair, "X, the Thing that Is Dead!" would not make for compelling storytelling.
  7. I'm in this camp. I like as well, on the right copy, that the 300s don't wrap at all on the spine side.
  8. More copies, you mean? I always assumed that New Mutants 87 2nd print were more abundant that the 1st.
  9. Atomahawk is selling well. Time to submit my error copy. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Daredevil+25&_sop=12&_sadis=15&_dmd=1&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_ipg=50&_stpos=10018&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=atomahawk&_sacat=0
  10. Comics are a story-telling medium. Without the stories, no one would care about the characters. Ads, articles, editorials, interviews, etc. all exist to raise awareness of the important thing; the creative work, the story. They're cool (maybe) but they're not the important thing.
  11. Maybe occasional updates of the list, like the Most Valuable Modern Variants thread?
  12. I'm sure California is expensive too. But they're in Burbank, where the Warner Brothers studios are. If there was existing space there that DC could make use of, maybe not so pricey? I don't know whether that is the case, but I imagine they figured it was better if they had all of the teams overseeing all of the different media in the same place
  13. Star Wars: Heir to the Empire #1 Star Wars: The Clone Wars #1 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #9 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #42 Star Wars Tales #23
  14. Marvel Super-Heroes 8 (first Squirrel Girl) has one result that's knocking on the door.
