  1. That's the only one I'm aware of from the original line. As pointed out earlier in the thread, the New 52 Static Shock #1 has a 2nd print, and some of the trades have been reprinted too.
  2. Not following what you're suggesting. Perhaps they didn't distribute reprints in the UK at the time?
  3. The Newsstand and Direct for Hardware 17 look a little different in the link because of variation in printing, but I doubt the printing plates were different (except for the black, because of the barcodes). The 2nd print has lighter blue box, and the Deja Vu copy is yellow. And there's a Roman numeral II in the price box.
  4. Hardware #1 also has the two versions, like Icon, Static, and Blood Syndicate.
  5. I think the non-enhanced version of that is the issue that I'm missing for my Milestone run (not counting newsstands, if I want to chase those).
  6. I figured if it was legit news, then a lot more sites would be reporting it. Since the question was asked about the character, I did a search and that's the only thing that seems relevant to the question asked. So I'm assuming the move is because of a rumor; nothing confirmed yet.

  8. Someone started a thread about a Secret Defenders issue with the same situation. Apparently the wrong price was printed to they added a sticker.
  9. I was making that prediction considering the sales prices of Rebirth of the Cool, which, as far as I know, doesn't have any significant collectible content (1st appearances, etc.), but has low order numbers.
  10. The Comichron numbers suggest that the 2nd print probably has limited numbers. I don't know for sure, and I wouldn't say that it's more important that the first appearance, but a lot of reprints have been taking off in price recently.
  11. Has anyone read the new book yet? It's available online now for free.
  12. This makes me think there should be a Full Moon Knight, Crescent Moon Knight, and Gibbous Moon Knight. I bet after the Netflix show we'll see some Sailor Moon Knight cosplay
  13. Wait what???? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Static-1-Platinum-Edition-VF-NM-Looks-Great-1-Start-Check-It-Out-/154077617066?hash=item23dfbddbaa%3Ag%3Aw9cAAOSw7JtfVknp&nma=true&si=sYFZpAP8jgg2HhKdrZ3u8RpT1os%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  14. I'm still interested in comics, but my collection is way too big. I'm slowly letting a lot of stuff go, especially when there's a spike in interest. There are some books that I'll probably be hesitant to ever sell due for sentimental reasons, but that's a very small portion of my collection.
  15. The big question is whether one would be heartbroken if they were never able to buy them back on the cheap later on. Sure, the prices might go down when interest wanes, but that might make people hesitant to sell the at the cheaper prices. If you own them and you're interested in owning them because you like them, then maybe keep then. If it's more a matter of cash, then sell when the price is high. Sure, it could go higher, but will it?
  16. Just like with any other comic, some are preserved better than others. Some are exposure to more light or heat. Others are exposed to more moisture. Just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if in the long run, they all shift in that direction.
  17. My favorite thing about the mutant books around this time (this crossover, Deadpool Circle Chase, Sabretooth, etc.) is that we can pinpoint this time as when they started using desktop publishing software to lay out the covers. I say that because the use of too many fonts (and ones commonly that came pre-installed on new computers) and the bad scaling reeks of "look what we can do!" rather than a knowledge of what makes for good design.
  18. I would not be surprised if we find out in time that they all just shift color with time and exposure.
  19. One of things I always loved about Milestone was the coloring. It was evocative of watercolors, and made it stand out from other lines.
  20. Thanks for the link. I imagine that the Sensational- and Friendly-designated issues are rarer than their Amazing counterparts, if the numbers distributed have anything to do with the popularity of the titles before they all became Amazing
  21. Ignore those images. Accidentally added them and it won't let me edit post to remove
