    I went on Saturday last year. For the most part I thought it was fine. There were a few times it got a bit crowded, but nothing too bad.

    Free Stuff So I acquired a very large quantity of Frazetta trading cards. So why not share the wealth. Each pack has ten cards. Depending on response I may send out more than one pack per person. Each card has a little info on the back including the name of the painting/picture and some other random stuff. I believe the full set is 90 different cards. Post an if interested. I'll work on getting addresses in a few days. I'm not really sure how I'm going to ship. Certainly these are not valuable, so I'm thinking just a plain white envelope. We'll see how it goes. USA shipping only. Sorry.

    Please don't take this as any kind of personal attack, but people pushing kids in strollers and kids generally milling about in my way are way more annoying to me than the cosplayers. We all have our pet peeves. That's why I'm good with whoever wants to show up.

    Haven't read the whole thread, but I'm lucky enough to have multiple "hotel" cons by mean a year. Probably around 90% comic vendors with some toys and other carp sprinkled in. They usually have a $4 entrance fee. I love them. The only big cons I go to are WW Philly and Baltimore. Although I'm probably done with Philly as I don't need any funko pops, t shirts or windows. It was horrible last year.

    I think my LCS is realizing I'm literally the only person buying his magazines. He was blowing them out yesterday. I think the only reason I just don't buy them all in one shot is that then I'm out of magazines to buy locally. The two Vamps I got from a board sale.

    Saw it tonight. Unfortunately due to Fandango's incompetence I watched it in 3D. Which I hate. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. A totally different take on previous King Kong movies. I really liked John Reilly's character. For a two hour movie it went fast.
