  1. It will be very interesting to see people's return policies spelled out.
  2. I think that will lead to mass thread deletes until people realize this I s a new rule.
  3. I need to hit the lottery to afford all these and buy a bigger house to display them.
  4. Speculation on the exclusive is a switch out axe for a sword based on an earlier photo.
  5. A lot of people were very unhappy with the paint job on the first one (I liked it). But this new one is awesome. What was the big complaint with the first one? And was it a problem through the entire run, or just some specific statues? They didn't like the skin tone. I think all of them.
  6. ECC and Hollywood collectibles have some nice ones as well. I'm on my tablet so hard to post pics. Really cool alien and medusa.

  8. Joker looks weird. His head is too big.
  9. Red Sonja is awesome. http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=151363&page=10
  10. Very interested to see the sideshow pinhead and evil dead statues.
  11. I'm not a big batman can but the armored one looks awesome.
  12. And Batgirl, and the new Conan. It looks like SS is starting to turn things around. Do you have the arh conan? No, I didn't get that one. Came close, but ultimately passed because I don't have room to display it next to the Fury of the Beast dio. Fury of the beast looks amazing. I have my first arh on pre-order and planning at least one more soon.

  14. Sad news. The replacement hamster appears to have also died.
  15. I was just looking at that pic on statueforum . I see you on there as well.
  16. I will be very interested in what the red Sonja looks like.
  17. Can it be both? I always include family insults with my low ball offers.
  18. What would be a lowball offer on this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLASH-COMICS-1-ASHCAN-EDITION-CGC-9-6-1939-/120652990756?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item1c177a8924
  19. For less expensive books, group pictures are fine. The question is, what is "less expensive" for me, I scan pretty much anything, but I can see group pictures for books sold in lots that average less than $2.00 each. I also don't mind a picture instead of a scan, as long as they are not blurry. Too many cell phone pictures are blurry, but they CAN be great if you just take the 10 seconds after to hold the camera (phone) still while the phone updates.. I think anything above a $1 should have a scan that's just me. I think most sellers/buyers would agree. A lot of issues lately are just from the new influx of boardies that are trying their hand at selling for the first time. I just don't think we are as flexible as we used to be. We grab the torch first now a lot of times and some seem to enjoy it. I would agree with you, but I'm seeing boardies with newer start dates and with start dates going way back who don't have scans on books marked for way more than $50, sometimes hundreds. As a collector, I want to SEE what I'm buying and many times the pictures attract me to something that I had no idea I "needed". Maybe we have more and more people who see comics as stocks, you don't see pictures of stocks, you just buy and sell pieces of paper. Kind of sad, there is so much to love in the medium. I buy books I never heard because of the pictures if it looks interesting. More so on cheaper books.
  20. The smart people believe that. The sheep buy into the round earth hoax.
  21. Surely you're not suggesting "owning an offer" is the same thing as owning a piece of tangible property...? Nevertheless, as I said, whether you own your offer or not (or whether there is even such a thing AS "owning an offer"), when you disregard the seller's asking price to make a lowball offer, it's much worse than a seller asking an unreasonable price. The first is a direct act of contempt...the second is a passive request. They're not the same thing. Sure I am. Seller gets to own the asking price. Buyer gets to own the offer price. I think they are the same thing. Right back where we started.
  22. Even after reading all that I don't agree with you. Ownership does not negate anything in my opinion. heck, I own my offer. So I should get the same get out of jail card.
  23. For the record I don't care what a seller lists something at. If I don't like it I just move on. And I think the same about offers. Don't like it then just move on. Everybody goes about their business.
