  1. I sold 100+ on Amazon yesterday 12.99 Still rolling Nice.
  2. Looks like Mad Max Furiosa are going for double cover price already. I ordered about 5 of them at $4 a pop about a month ago and they just shipped. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=mad+max+comic&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H1.Xmad+max+furiosa+comic.TRS1&_nkw=mad+max+furiosa+comic&_sacat=0
  3. Add on Craigslist for some comics: "I want $80 for all 15 or $2 each.
  4. I would say the cutoff would prevent the nomination.
  5. I assume you are talking about a time frame for returns as opposed to a time frame for nominating someone for the PL. I'm not sure anyone was trying to force a specific return policy on sellers. Kind of one in the same isn't it ? I don't think so.

  7. Would this be a two step process? First voting if people agree there should be a time limit and if that is yes then voting on what that time would be.
  8. So what happens next? Do some of these get put to a vote? Does someone have to "officially" put a rule change up for consideration?
  9. Does that actually work with anyone? How about a poor single mother? Or a homeless orphan?
  10. So what exactly do you want to have happen? Make him produce details of a sale?
  11. I also agree with skypinkblu. Once someone presses a book some people are going to consider that resto and should not be obligated to take it back.
  12. They may have sold for less than was posted. Negotiations happen by PM all the time.
  13. With the statute of limitations it seems like we have two things to vote on. One would be if there should be one at all. And then if the answer is yes, how long should it be.
  14. Did anyone mention what caused this discussion? Should there be a deadline for nominating someone to the PL?
  15. Then you got 30 days to figure it out. So a return policy can trump a guarantee. Never thought about it like that.
  16. So what if someone says I guarantee no resto and I have a 30 day return policy?
  17. Sorry, I just used one year as an example. Didn't mean to imply that was any kind of agreed upon time frame.
  18. You all continue to convolute two separate issues. We should not be discussing a mandatory return/refund period...that should be left to each individual seller in his/her individual sales threads. If I want to start a sales thread with an "as-is no return" policy, I should be free to do so, and you should be free to not buy the books in that thread if you don't like it. What we need to stay focused on is the PL statute of limitations discussion...i.e., how long does someone have to initiate a PL claim on a failed transaction. That's a different question, and (I thought) that's the issue that's on the table. Agreed. The simplest way I can think about it is this. Someone wants to nominate someone for the PL. First question: Did the transaction happen within a year? If yes, then carry on as usual. If no, then sorry, the time frame for nominating to the PL has expired.
  19. Maybe I'm thinking of it too simplistically, but I see it as only being a time limit on the back end for nominating someone for the PL. Let's say it is a year. It would simply be a matter of any nomination made after that was invalid.
  20. Is that even permissible now? Can I say I take no returns under any circumstances and then send something not as advertised? What if a seller puts a time frame for returns? Not just a "no returns accepted." Same question. What would happen today if I say no returns under any circumstances after 30 days and send the wrong book? If the buyer comes here on day 31 and says I just noticed and the seller won't take it back what would happen?
  21. Is that even permissible now? Can I say I take no returns under any circumstances and then send something not as advertised? New sales thread? No, you can't.
