  1. I've also seen a totally orange version on Wolverine #75. It is also considered an error cover.
  2. The overabundance of supply will tell. Ms. Marvel #1 and She-Hulk #1 are more examples on the way down. For a collector, sure. Investment, no.
  3. Wow. That would be a shock. Well, commit the person's description to memory. Put up a poster about the incident as someone may have seen them Hopefully the thief's own stupidity will bring them undone.
  4. Very unfortunate. I'm guessing by the item it was a younger person? Did this happen anywhere near street cameras? With some detective work you may yet retrieve the item.
  5. Who is divorced from reality? Or is it the fact that my avatar is so much better than yours?
  6. "Sense" often doesn't come into it in this game. There are multiple 9.8's on Ebay at present that will sit there. And sit there. And so on. Another example is ASM #194. As for NM #98, sellers can ASK for a certain price, but there is no guarantee they will get it (the 9.8 with the Double cover and triple signatures is interesting, but...), especially when the market is flooded with said overpriced items. On the other hand, list an IH #377 3rd print in 9.8 and see how long it lasts. Sweet rarity 👌
  7. I'd say some inexperience comes into play here. As an investment this issue will have no great worth due to the sheer volume of high grade copies (9.8 - 954 of the regular version iand 334 in of the variant version).
  8. How times change. I remember seeing a 9.8 going for 5K in something like 2013.
  9. Shame. He would have been better off saving for a 9.8. They always pay off in the long run.
  10. ASM#129 will increase in price again. The Punisher is a popular character, and there are only a finite number of copies that are truly 9.8.
  11. Well, at least IM #55 continues to promote ChopCycles, even though the line was discontinued over 40 years ago.
  12. A good time to get in before the next surge (IH #181 has done it twice now, with a few years gap).
  13. I agree completely. I miss the free and easy market we had for so many years. People lost their minds during COVID. While I obviously want to one day realize a good price on gems such as IH #181, GX # 1 etc, I for one won't lament a drop in price on MCU-driven first appearances etc.
  14. While not as bad, it reminds me of the time in 2015 when someone paid 6K for Captain Savage and his Leatherneck Raiders #1. Yes, it is Rocky Mountain Pedigree but this was 2015 and the demand would be almost non-existant...
  15. Heh. Yes, 2015 certainly feels like a lifetime ago. Yes, it would be far more but my point was it is the only NF standout. I personally would be happy with a Sgt. Fury & HC in 9.4. Like Hulk #1, the highest grade.
  16. All true, but there is a 9.9 of NF#1 that is noteworthy. Interestingly, it trails the 9.9 of Iron Man & Sub-Mariner #1 and Iron Man #1 by a considerable margin.
  17. Agreed. It takes a fine touch to conduct an auction these days. Buy It Now has been the norm since the advent of CGC. (Heh - never run an auction Lazy? )
  18. Someone is hoping to cash in: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275585675854?hash=item402a2fb24e:g:CgUAAOSw2d1hwoO~&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoPhKJcjlnBHyKzQd3ymQDOYaI8qJ9fkhW68W7IQmP2UezNikEeiZQb1loVKbb2uC5x83wEWOKsJl8nfBq52oZ7QLXaKLzd7Yx%2FPbmnK3Hi9slFG5OT66H5eK%2BdeuwHYi%2FrOgjr53bz0kp0s1CQvnktX7JCgD662m1lXqCgR4vl2AFkcOEgaUEwsJ3ha%2FTxH9Wb7%2BfavjR9hY80btIeePoRQ%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8qgu720YQ
  19. A raw going for that price is impressive. Based on scarcity a 9.8 could be a real surprise.
