  6. Please Send Me Absolutely Free by Arkady Leokum   Popular Library No. 366   September 1951     $30

A stunner of a copy of this Popular with great uncredited GGA of a ho with the empty wine glass. Condition rarity at work here.

VF/NM    Square tight and glossy with almost no wear. Those lines you see are reflections of the gloss, not creases.  Slight bindery wear at top of spine.

  7. Tales from the House of Mystery #1   by  Jack Oleck     Warner Paperback Library     0-446-75226-6   1st edition, 1st Print    1973             $90 for the pair

Tales from The House Of Mystery: Volume 2  by Jack Oleck     Warner Paperback Library     0-446-75256-8  1st Edition 1st Print  1973

A pair of tough books. Fantastic Berni Wrightson covers and interior illustrations

Slightly lesser than the set I sold a while back because of No. 1 but still high grade.

They both are super fresh, unread, new looking copies. No. 1 has an odd small production defect at the back lower corner. It looks like the edge hit the cutting machine and cut a tip off the back. Not a chew of any kind, very smooth, still a pretty book.

One of my favorite noir covers. An incredible Clarence Doore Bad Girl with the red dress, opera gloves and cigarette. Beware!

Fine. Square, tight and glossy. Has a small split at bottom left, a few surface disturbances and some edgewear. Overall an attractive copy of a rare PB in any condition.

  9. Torture Garden by Octave Mirbeau   Berkley No. 111   1955   $15  SOLD to Goldust40

Bargain copy of the first paperback edition with the classic Dali-esque surreal cover art of the Eve's and the apple

Fine minus/Fine. Would be VF ish but has an impact to the middle of the book with a large NCB crease, stress crack to spine and small erasure to cover.  Still has a nice appearance.

  10. Two Sinners by Lee Jackquin       Stork Original Novel No. 8       $85  SOLD to Goldust40

Classic L.B.Cole painted sleaze romance cover in incredible shape for these. The Stork Novel digests were printed on cheap paper and are very tough to find in nice shape.

Fine Plus.  Great color. Minor creasing that doesn't break color. Some shadows on the back, light rust at the staples.

One of the nicest copies I've ever seen.  I'll regret selling this cheap.
