  1. Woogie saw in my sig line that I needed this book and gave me the heads up when a copy became available. Thanks Woogie! One of my grail books...
  2. If you look at that cover for more than a few seconds, it has a real 3-D affect. As if The Black Terror is leaping off the cover.
  3. New eBay purchase. Posted this in the "Jeff's Nedors" thread as well, but I know some folks won't see it there. White pages!
  4. Thanks to Silver Surfer for a super nice TTA #98, blinding fast shipment, and bomb-proof packaging. Not to mention the bonus item he included, no extra charge.
  5. Ow! I'll pass on that - if that's the going frieght on that book, then I'll have to move it to my B list. Well, it's been listed there for quite some time, so the going rate must be a bit lower.
  6. There's a raw G+ copy on the Link, but they're asking $300.
  7. I've been wanting a nice copy of this book for A LONG time. Here's the highest graded copy of Fighting Yank #6, with one of the best Schomburg Nedor covers. The Church copy is a 9.0...
  8. Thanks to Darth for hooking me up with Identity Crisis #3 and a nice copy of Supes #317. SUPER fast shipping.
  9. Metro has a 7.0 for $950. Vinny, I should be getting a comission for this...
  10. Never heard that one before. I didn't think the camps had been emptied by 1943, though .... Alan I had heard, on these boards I believe, that she was in the internment camp when she began collecting. I'm sure there would have been a PX of some kind where magazines could be purchased. But if you haven't heard that, and it's not in the pedigree description you posted, maybe it's not true.
  11. Here ya go, Brad! Hey PM, is it untrue that she was in a Japanese internment camp?
  12. My understanding is that the Okajimas are a collection put together by a teen-age girl in a Japanese internment camp in California during WW2. She wrote her last name on the top of each book.
  13. Just removed from the Fed Ex box. I've always loved this cover...
  14. That is nice. I generally only buy Nedors with war covers, but that one is very cool.
  15. My mission in San Diego this year was to find either a Pep #20 or #27, raw or graded, restored or unrestored, but they were NOWHERE to be found. Several dealers laughed when I inquired about the books and said "Yeah, you're gonna have a tough time finding those." Ah well...
  16. Only a CGC 4.5, but you gotta love the flying torpedo cover!
  17. I've been wanting this one for a while. One of my favorite Action covers. The contrast of the dark background and Superman's bright costume provides a 3-D effect that really jumps out at you.
  18. NEDOR! Hundreds of beautiful Schomburg war covers. I don't think you should exclude Fawcett though. I am astounded at what a bargain Fawcetts are, even in high grade.
