  1. The Mac Attack a macaroni and cheese based pizza. I was kind of hoping when I unwrapped it to see my inner five year old read how the turtles made those classic episode pizzas I used to watch as a kid and beg my mom to try and make and I'd get the turn down. Who wouldn't want jellybean or fudge ripple pizza?
  2. I figured it would be 90 to 10 chance you would post on the first page of the forum. Now if only my Jets had such good odds for the Super Bowl win this century. Oh well, there is always next century.
  3. Thank you for your service Ray.
  4. Unpublished Commission: Greg Woronchak Sketch, Steve Lydic Colors, Mike Zeck signed and thumbs up mini sketch.
  5. Sadly, it happens more often than we would like! I have had a dishonest seller trying to sell me a book they did not own off of eBay! This, was probably the hardest sketch to add this past year. Back in 2019, this sketch first showed up on ebay for sale. I had it in my watch list but it was a bit too pricey for me at the time (and it was in a CBCS holder which is not always a turn off but I tend to prefer CGC) so it sat until one day it was no longer for sale having been sold. I figure you can't win them all. Then fast forward this August it became for sale again. I thought maybe the new seller had it to sell so I bought it. A tracking number was provided and almost a month later the tracking said label created awaiting arrival at usps. I emailed about it and was assured it was sent and told to check tracking. I did and it said the same thing. Imagine my surprise when this same sketch cover came for sale on eBay from a different seller in a different state over a month from my first purchase. I asked the second seller I know this may sound silly but can you tell me if this sketch is actually at your house and I explained my hesitation. He sent me a timestamp photo proving he had it in hand. I bought this sketch a second time (and for a cheaper price) and when it arrived it had the same I'd number on the slab as the first auction, it was the same sketch! I asked for a refund from the first seller and the seller assured me he mailed it and he got the sketch at a con from Patrick Owsley directly telling me I must be mistaken and it could not be possible! I informed him about my second auction and told him to search it, and brought up CBCS database only shows one Owsley sketch in 9.6. Surprisingly he never responded back and ebay stepped in to refund within 24 hours.
  6. Happy New Year everyone! Thank you @ivdyer for keeping the tradition going. Can't wait to see what 2021 brings sketch wise.
  7. (Yes, I have owned the book since very early 2018 having purchased it with the first signature already on it. I have had it in hand probably less than a year with all its traveling.) I agree especially when the book is not a sketch cover, I'd rather take my chances on a lower grade to get signatures. I have the hardest time retaining grades on DC Scooby books from the late 1990's early 2000's they seem notorious now with staple stress/pulls in the new CGC cases. 2 out of 3 books dropped after regrading. It is all part of the challenge/fun though.
  8. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but this one is in the permanent pile, many years in the making, and still going. LoL
  9. Thank you, this was one of my favorite shows in elementary school (behind the turtles re-runs of course) and knock on wood it hasn't dropped. I have had it re-slabbed so far the most out of any of my books and it is off at CGC for another time and I had it travel to two different facilitators (multiple times with the one) as well as CGC travel and now 9 separate conventions/private events. (This book has had better vacations than I have had lol.) My favorite go-to facilitator recommended that I get it pressed which brought it up .2. It was originally a 9.4. I do notice very slight stress streams on the back cover spine move just a small fraction since the last re-slab but I'm hopeful it will remain a 9.4. I'll repost when it gets back with the two added signatures. I am one of those rare souls that don't necessarily care fully about the grade but more so keeping the history behind the item in tack. At this point, I think I have the remaining (alive) original rangers from the first two seasons, the producer, Zordon, and Alpha. The back cover (unless I can fit in on the front) just needs, Bulk, Skull, & Rita.
  10. You can keep on going. This currently has two additional signatures upon it and back at cgc for well, I lost count at this point. It currently is getting regraded with Zordon's voice and Austin St. John. Eventually like this one, the additional information/signatures are posted on the back of the slab.
  11. Good luck! What did you send in/ask for? I know that Joe has always been a fan of Scooby (he always smiles when I ask for a Scooby sketch at a convention.) This was his first DC Scooby issue before his 100 some odd issue run of Scooby.
  12. Cgc private in house signing. Scooby Doo by Joe Staton with a little color thrown in.
  13. Splinter must have been the deciding factor. Go Splinter!
  14. I wonder though is it three weeks of seven business days or three physical weeks since everything else is by business days.... Can't wait to see my Scooby remark by Joe Staton but at least this is a safer way to get sketches/signatures.
  15. I'm trying to find a book myself to sign in. I do have a Scooby sketch cover with Scooby as a Ninja Turtle by Jim Lawson that I might get remarked on the back. I look at Eastman's remark this way. Normally at a convention, he does a small turtle quick head sketch when not asked on EVERY signature. The pictures for the remark through the signing does appear more advanced, but I think Eastman is so used to doing turtle sketches that he is used to the added pressure of popping out turtle sketches and that is with fan interaction/questions. This will probably be like a vacation for him.
  16. Was this Lydic or Edwards? Great piece for sure!
  17. Don't forget to reuse the bubble wrap they send with slabs to go around the long box first,
  18. Do they still make the yellow ones? I have been looking all over for them. Old generation one too...
  19. Couldn't you just draw the sharpie on the slab bag or on the slab? That's how I send slabbed books to facilitators for conventions. It be cool to see the pizza being incorporated into the turtle sketch. Nice jam appeal!
  20. Good luck on that one, in my past experiences he does the opposite for value. Would only sign my Superman VS. Muhammad Ali if it was personalized to me.
  21. Sometimes you just run out of Realestate and have little option, this one is currently on a trip for two more at the end of the month. The label information has moved onto back label territory.
