  1. Cool sketches! You should add them to The 2020 Sketch Cover Mega Thread too.
  2. Awesome cover! Fun fact, Black Widow Scarlet Johansson also had a role as a child in Home Alone 3 as Kevin's older sister.
  3. I guess my reading list just got longer.......again........
  4. Since when does CGC recognize a news stand edition on a label, or is it depend on the book?
  5. Maybe the person likes to outbid themselves?
  6. Awesome, the old school slabs, they do exist!
  7. Sounds great. Isherwood does a great Doctor Strange. I met him at my first ever convention Baltimore 2015. His wife loved my jam idea so much and that I had a list of people with characters already planned that she turned to him and said, "you won't charge this young man for his awesome sketch right dear!" Apologies for the Voldemort slab, I didn't know the ropes of witnesses then and several convention goers said it would be easier to go verify after the fact. Plus I only had a one day pass and was driving a straight 6 hours back same night. WHOLE lot cheaper waiting in line for a witness. Lesson learned.... Tom Palmer Darth Vader, Mike Grell Green Arrow, Jim Starlin Thanos, Eric Talbot Ninja Turtle, Andrew Griffith Optimus Prime, Katie Cook Uncle Matt from Fraggle Rock, Jennifer Hernandez Sonic the Hedgehog, Dan Parent Archie, Steve Conley Bloop, David Petersen Snake from Mouse Guard, Geof Isherwood Doctor Strange, Bob Budiansky Ghost Rider, S.L. Gallant Ant from Pink Panther.
  8. I didn't know Hulk made it to, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"!
  9. No I haven't, I will have to see if they made a trade of the series. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Love the idea, good luck with it. You could even have two small figures bending down underneath the title on each end and have them look like they are trying to lift the title up from the jam.
  11. Actually, green rock says otherwise. All Thor has to do is bling out the Hammer.
  12. It seems that Batman's utility belt got an upgrade.
  13. My apologies, I should have been more specific. Scooby as in Scooby Team Up, or the cartoon Scooby series? @Rich_Henn
  14. @Rich_Henn I'm sure it is a shot in the dark, but any Scooby doo signed books?
  15. #'s 318 - 319 Scooby Doo # 118 (1997 Series): One of the personal artist copies I got off of Tim Levins for purchasing original Scooby art pages. Love the second story more how it is a spin off of the board game clue and they are trying to find the missing mystery dinner host. The first story is a spin off of a house remodeling show only, the gang has to get rid of the ghost of a ex-gangster before the house could be remodeled. Daredevil #112 (1964 Series): Daredevil has to take on the Mandrill who is threatening to use a Atomic Bomb in NYC if he isn't proclaimed president of the United States of America. Mandrill can control/hypnotise the female population including an old girlfriend of Daredevil, Black Widow. The day is saved though by Daredevil. 681.......
  16. #'s 301- 317 Darkwing Duck The Definitively Dangerous Edition: Collects Darkwing Duck #1-16 & Darkwing Duck Annual #1. Great story arch where Darkwing Duck comes out of retirement where all villains and normal civilians have to work a 9-5 job in little cubicles to take the fight to all of his original foes, and new foes as well. Darkwing gets back his old girl friend only to lose her again, his daughter goes to a private school, he ran against Launchpad for mayor and lost. (Launchpad only lasted 20 minutes before he resigned and the city was physically ruined.) Overall, it was a great read, and I love how James Silvani slipped in characters or mashups from the Disney universe into the side characters. He does great mashups! 683......
  17. More time to think about who you want/what you want! It will get done eventually.
  18. Finally got a Tim Levins part of Scooby history. Tim was selling some original art pages online from a scooby story he did. While he had to pass on taking commissions at this time, he was willing to remark his copy of the book and send it to cgc for me!

  22. Tim Shinn preliminary practice for a sketch cover commission of Chewbacca as Colonel Sanders. Instead of Fried Chicken its Kashyyyk Fried Porg! Also a sketch card commission of Dobby the House Elf with Infinity Gauntlet. You shall not harm Harry Potter!
  23. Guy Gilchrist stay at home convention Sunday facebook live. Lips from the Muppets sketch cards. Kermit the Frog eyes on a envelope. Angel mouse from Mudpie head views.
