  1. Very cool, I didn't know this existed!
  2. I understand, I'm hoping for a Joe Staton remark. This will be the first time in 6 years that I miss out on getting a Joe Staton Scooby Sketch due to convention cancellations. I'm hoping at least for a remark of Scooby, to keep the Joe Staton streak going.
  3. Hi Matt, In the Scooby Apocalypse Set can you please add a slot for Scooby Apocalypse #25 Variant Cover as has been done with similar books in this set. An example of the variant is 1960851007. Thank You Slot added. Thank you
  4. Surprised it didn't get a green/yellow hybrid label. Unless I'm reading it wrong, the Eastman and Laird signatures/sketches weren't witnessed? Still an EPIC piece none the less.
  5. Scooby Doo and the girls infiltrated comic con cosplay. Velma as Harley Quinn & Daphne as Poison Ivy. By Dan Nokes
  6. Where do they still sell long boxes that fit CGC slabs, I only see short boxes these days.... I really miss the SlabPro long boxes those fit close to 50!
  7. First convention was a small one, Scranton Comic Con I want to say in 2011. Small, one ballroom but I met Darren Auck and picked up some original Rocko's Modern Life art and got a Rocko with Spunky sketch since I was reliving my childhood. Also picked up Amazing Spiderman #8 and slabbed it years later to see that it was missing a add page, but still a respectable grade/price at the time. First "real" convention was Baltimore Comic Con 2015 what a show!
  8. According to CGCdata.com, CGC has only graded 13,443 issues of Incredible Hulk #181. The 10,000 issue was graded at least in August of 2018 so compared to some comics, that is rare maybe? Amazing Fantasy #15 only has 3,352 copies graded by CGC.
  9. Plus, I have seen writers/artist smile brightly when they get the dog eared books.
  10. You gave me an idea, maybe I'll have a commission of Gossamer going after Scooby.
  11. If you go for it then go for the gold and make it a signature series. I think it is more of a challenge to have the lowest graded signature series book then the highest.
  12. I know, just trying to hope for normallacy again, plus they have most of my bucket list in one place as odds would have it. 5 of my top 10 one shot.
  13. Honestly never thought this would be possible to own given um a certain artist fees. A seller on ebay was selling a scooby sketch cgc graded 9.8, packaged with a scooby Apocalypse signature series 9.8. I did the math and it made sense. My first (and the only ever time) I will own a Neal Adam's sketch. Fred Jones Apocalypse style.
  14. You are not alone! Those were the first two series I started reading as a elementary school kid when they came out and the passion continued. 95% of all my sketch commissions are of Scooby Doo. Check out The 2020 Sketch Cover Mega Thread, I have a few up there from this year.
  15. Same question, now that the event has been pushed for the fourth time. December 4-6th 2020?
  16. Archie Comics Publications: Flintstones, Scooby Count Duckula, Muppet Babies (original series) DC: Captain Carrot & His Amazing Zoo Crew (all series), Flintstones/Jetsons, Scooby (1997) series, Scooby (current series), Scooby Doo Team-Up, Scooby Apocalypse all variant covers too. Scooby Doo Gold Key/Whitman all issues (just missing a small handful of mark jeweler variants)
  17. Oh it is a nightmare. But, most of my non sketch covers usually drop so I try to stay positive and look at it as a game. Only had 4 out of 5 drop....one dropped AFTER it got pressed too....
  18. CGC Witness cracks open book, witnesses signature, then the book is sent to CGC in a bag and board for regrading and you get the yellow label. Facilitators will do this for you too for an extra fee but it is worth it if you can't attend a convention. There is no guarantee that the original grade will stay, it is part of the fun though.
