  1. Speaking of lamination, does anyone have any insights for both re-adhering it or removing it? I've peeled off damaged lamination with mixed results. Sometimes there is a dullish residue on the book cover which doesn't wipe off. Has anyone tried a hot iron to re-adhere it? My other thought was heating it with a hairdryer might help in removing it. Thoughts?
  2. I'm somewhat similarly afflicted, only with Donna Reed (but they were re-runs!).
  3. And just because it makes me happy to think about the warmer weather and when people can return to the streets again:
  4. Yes, I'm posting some weird stuff. Chalk it up to cabin fever and insomnia. Antique advertising standee:
  5. While not technically a pulp, I think it fits in here nicely:
  6. And while I'm at it, I might as well post this example of non-comic GGA!!
  7. I was looking through some oddball ephemera and thought this would be a bummer of a name today, just like poor Corona beer. It reminds me of the fact that Jay's potato chips before Pearl Harbor were called Mrs. Japp's. A great can if you can find one in nice shape!
  8. That's really interesting! I've poured over many old best-seller lists going back to the early 1900's when Mary Rinehart, Robert Chambers, Booth Tarkington, Rex Beach, Ralph Connor... I've seen those names on cloth covers for decades now in all manner of rummaging, but I don't recall that title. I've found that a lot of the Dell and Pocket books drew from similar, older works, I guess, that's why people get so excited by PBO's!
  9. Who cares is right! I've never seen that book in person either, and I've looked through a LOT of mapbacks. Congrats!!
  10. It would be tough to top this twin bill from Fantastic Four 13:
