  1. I think some of these are pretty exciting yellow covers... #58, 62 and #65. (sorry my photography skills are lacking)
  2. You can see at least one of each of those in my current sig line. Don't want to bore people to death. I have guests coming over shortly. If I get a chance later, perhaps I will pick something else out and shoot a photo. Could always throw up the Jo-Jo's, but that too may be too repetitive and boring.
  3. I am not sure this is considered a yellow cover, but I scanned it the other day and so I have it handy to post and the yellow on it does make it pop.....
  4. I don't have photos of most of my books, however, I did take a photo of this one that my wife gave me for Christmas.
  5. Sharon is not only an excellent seller, but an awesome person in general. Recently purchased a few books from her, for a friend's birthday gift. She not only included an extra, but even gift wrapped them. She is the BEST! The board and world are a far better place, because Sharon is here!
  6. I can't speak to the future value of anything, however, I do believe the rarer something is, the more likely it is to increase in value. Thus if all you care about is a cash out at the end of the day, then perhaps you should listen to the advise of many here and go high grade. I, on the other hand, am a collector and so I will go with Dave's advice. To me owning three nice books (lowest being a 7.0) is better than owning one 9.0 (of the same book). 7.0 is nothing to be ashamed of. Now, if FF #48 is your all time favorite book in the whole world, then maybe I could understand you trading in books you care less about in order to try and obtain that 9.0 - 9.2.
  7. I can see someone (not me) saying they don't like the book, however, to say Marty Collins looks "gross", might be considered a little harsh.
  8. I like this idea in general. Would consider it for an Action 1.
  9. Although the scratch probably would not bother me, you did say the holder was "pristine". I think giving him the reholder fee (which is less than 1% of the books price) is the right thing to do. IMO.
  10. That's easy; ANY book that has Stan's signature scribbled across the cover in big black ink!
  11. Fantastic 3. Probably get stoned for saying that..... (oh yeah, and if any of you guys that hate Suspense 3, come across a copy and can't stand to look at it, PLEASE PM me immediately. I would be happy to take it off your hands).
  12. Totally agree with you! If the item description changed, then all bets are off, and I would agree one should have the right to retract or adjust their bid accordingly. Thanks for pointing that out. It was something I had not considered.
  13. I have probably been on eBay for around 20 years and I have NEVER retracted a bid. I am not judging anyone else, but for me, I would consider that as going back on my word (something I refuse to do). The only time I would think a bid retraction would be acceptable (for me) is IF I accidently typed in the wrong number (an extra zero or something). This is just my opinion and as I said, I am not judging anyone else who thinks this practice is acceptable.
  14. Is there a way to post the PMs without revealing the identity of the other board member? I would be interested in reading the exact language of these PMS, before making any judgments, jumping to conclusions, or casting stones. Reading the entire PM conversation would perhaps allow everyone to see both sides.
  15. Thanks for putting this together, Flex. Thanks to all the contributors. These are the kinds of things that make the boards a special place, full of special and generous people.
  16. I think that decimal point needs to be moved. $7.00.
  17. Thank you, for making these books available at very fair prices. Glad I was able to "take" a few. I already have a copy of TEC #322, so please pass that "freebie" on to the next smart shopper.
  18. Well, this thread definitely needs a bump for an awesome boardie. As such, I will TAKE the following TECs.... 324, 329, 331, 345, and 348.
  19. Congratulations!!!! Great job on an awesome run. I would enjoy reading more about the quest/hunt. Those days before the Internet when we ordered from paper catalogs, listed alternates, and waited to see what came in the mail.
