  1. Be interested to hear on this, was this CCS to CGC? I have a Walkthrough that should get there in the next day or two for grading only though.
  2. Depending on your bank you could be charged both ways, I always write them a check so not exactly sure how much they charge on a wire.
  3. Thank you, I have owned several 911's over the years. When they were not so expensive I had 3 at one time, I turned 16 in 1990 so you can see my taste in cars sorta stuck in that era. Loved the Quattro as well myself and had looked for one until they got insanely priced.
  4. Ha, correct on the 348tb and M3. The Porsche is a 1980 that I built with my son 15 years ago. It is backdated with 73 parts and does have RS decals so a clone in that aspect, but a super light and fun car. 911 is the most fun to drive the Ferrari is just a different animal all together. I am partial to European cars.
  5. This is pretty close to an ATH already. It certainly is business in the front party in the back. https://www.comicconnect.com/item/909148
  6. Yes this is correct. It is still done in the publishing industry, paperbacks for instance are stripped of the covers and sent in for credit, freight costs kill both sides so the covers are the currency.
  7. And BTW someone just listed a 3.5 on the exchange on CL for 70K.
  8. Yeah a remainder above a .5???? The other thing is that seller seems to be attracting some crazy buyers right now, you can't imagine how fast people buy 5 figure books on there just from flashing them on screen during live auctions. I saw a book a week or two ago sell for almost double the going rate (not a super hot book mind you) with cream pages. Not C-OW. Straight cream.
  9. Note to self, sell every S&P stock I own before 10-30-2030
  10. Thanks I grabbed one and put it in with the other ones without the tear to see what CGC thinks.
  11. tough time being a buyer for me,lol. Now when a seller says they do not have a grade I am looking for I assume they just don't want me to have it
  12. Definitely good timing. In my opinion CL has been outperforming CC this year.
  13. Yep, not to me yet, the book just got to CL and they noticed the certification was different. I had them holding the shipment anyway to combine when I send a check for my auction wins.
  14. Well, maybe I did not actually buy this book. I usually never post pictures until in hand, but ComicLink just emailed me stating the seller of this book sent a 8.0 with lower PQ and a different certification. Politely declined that copy.
  15. I started back traveling for work about 2 months ago, I will say in 8 weeks the airports have went from ghost towns to pre covid levels so I think in certain parts of the country that is already happening. TSA throughput has been tracking close to 65% of 2019 numbers ( I could possibly own airline stocks so I may watch that closer than I should). For example, 4-7-2021 had 1.2m Travelers against 94K for 2020 same day. If this vertex is going to happen it is fairly close already.
  16. Well it is a book that does not have the supply to meet the demand if it was to be brought into mainstream. A netflix series would make that book really explode.
  17. Slightly different than mine but I don't collect variants.
  18. Certainly a time to let go of some books if you have multiple copies. I jokingly told my wife looking at current sales this may be a 30K stack of books now.
