  1. Hunting for keys hidden in poorly described lots on ebay will never get old.
  2. Who are you calling a "web warrior"? rofl no need to get hostile, dude. I just think you should enjoy the book as is. But you do you! Be sure to sign your work after, though. Makes it more official.
  3. Is this what the flipping sub culture has come to? Cleaning small areas of a mid grade book to maybe make it a slightly better mid grade book and make 50 $20 bucks while also risking degrading a nice book? There are only so many of these around, it looks great! Enjoy it?
  4. I heard a rumor this got deleted. No , I did not catch up in the thread before typing this. Only dead bois read.
  5. Nice! My run won't be quite that high grade. At least not at first, I'm trying to keep the bronze books at vf/nm minimum. Eventually it will be fun to upgrade everything, but I don't wanna think about that right now ha. Good luck finishing the run
  6. How many "very light color breaking stress lines" are there? How big are they?
  7. There are good sellers on ebay. I don't think dumping the whole platform is necessary. Just don't buy from the jerks or obviously dubious sellers, I guess. I sell on ebay. I try to do my best. But ya, if the seller didn't provide adequate information to begin with (good scans or pictures and good description) and won't accommodate a potential buyer's request SHOULD lose your business.
  8. Did somebody say...McFarlane? I'm 12 books shy of finishing off the 300s. That includes the two biggies, but I'll get there eventually. I went to ECCC and didn't buy any X-Men, eek! Sorry about the glare.
  9. I mean, it's a decent cover. And I get it is limited, but oof this seems a little cray
  10. Guess I should have dragged my buttocks down to Midtown for the midnight release party after all, sigh
  11. Johnny Reb Goblin never did feel quite the same after the war. His conflicted mind only grew more troubled and volatile with the great booming echoes of canon fire and the wail of death from thousands of his goblin compatriots rattling around inside head.
  12. I bought it today, but I'm wayyyyy behind on reading Avengers so can't comment on the story at all.
  13. That's some straight up nonsense right there, and I think the honest boardies here deserve some protection from dealing with this person in the future i.e. tell us who this is immediately so I can strike them off my list of people to deal with around here. WTF scam artist is a scam artist.
  14. doesn't include grading fees? hrmph
  15. I'd definitely keep an eye out for already slabbed copies of all the books you are thinking of slabbing. You can likely grab them for not much more than the cost of slabbing them, if not less.
  16. Mine has it too, as well as some other marvel books I bought last week.
  17. Nice! And nah, this one isn't going to get slabbed. Its around a VF and looks lovely in its mylar. Plus I can read it. One day I'm sure I'll either buy a raw to get slabbed or just buy a nice slabbed copy.
