Silver Age is always so disappointing. It's got all the ingredients for a great dirtbag shop: at the end of the subway line, IN the elevated subway station, just feels like a shop where you can find some great stuff...and zip. Stock is in awful condition, its all drek, and all priced ridiculously. Even the new, BRAND NEW that week, comics are somehow in terrible condition. I mean wut? I only get over there once in a great while for other reasons than hunting comics, but I still stop in and look through a few boxes. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.

I hope so. I really need Amazing #300 get a bit cheaper

Is it too early to look forward to the holiday gift exchange?

Same! -
Even at around $200 (some recent ebay sales are quite a bit under that), a 9.6 is a super nice copy to be had at a fraction of the current 9.8 prices. Crazy.

Bagged comics...the funniest of ironies.

Even then, I'm pretty mehhh about the dumb tatooz being present, but the market decides so wtf do I know. -

If the card/insert is attached to the book then ok. Like the tatooz. But if it is just a loose promo item included in the bag, I don't see how that has anything to do with the condition/completeness of the book -
You won't convince me that wasn't deliberately stomped on.

I recently bought the CLZ app, and I love it so far. Super easy to use, scanner works great (just make sure you are working with good lighting), and looking up older/non bar code titles and issues is super quick and easy. Its very comprehensive as far as variants, cover images, creator information, plots, publishing info etc. What I don't like is there is no way that I've seen to include market value or even purchase price. I only really want that for insurance reasons, but I guess a spreadsheet of at least my keys does the same thing.

Thanks! It's a 9.2 ish, very nice book. but I love them raw so I don't care.

I dunno, I pulled this and two 606s out of unpicked/unpriced boxes at my LCS earlier this year and got them all for cover price. I was quite pleased. -
I went a little hog wild on the Parrillo variants at NYCC. Also picked up a ton of modern Amazing Spidey back issues, here are a few of the highlights. And some other random NYCC goodness MMM Spidey keys! Thanks @Dale Roberts for this one

Just be aware that he sells stuff that comes in as fast as it does, but he does have back issues. There is a bit of Silver and Bronze at Alex's Cards and Comics on the upper east side. Neither of these are big shops, but good bets to find something nice.

Is there a more updated list of Artgerm covers? This one appears to have not been updated for some time. https://comicbookinvest.com/2015/02/06/artgerm-cover-checklist/
