  1. I'd love some original art from anything below 300. At some point I'm sure I'll start looking at that .
  2. I recently got into collecting Lucio Parrillo covers and went a little hog wild on them. I'm not sorry about it, he is a great artist and his art is extremely cool. But I did have to admit it here because its money not spent on the X-Men run. I think I'm over the initial "oh man these are great, I gotta get a ton of them asap" phase and can go back to focusing on X-Men. I sold my NYX #1-7 set, so that's done. I still have most of what I sold it for left to put towards this run. East Coast Comic Con is coming up and maybe I'll go. I enjoyed it last year. Loads of comics dealers and boxes to dig through, plus its expanded to three days this year. Anyone else in the NYC area planning on going? I'm still sitting on about six hundred modern books that I want to sell. not really sure how best to get rid of them. I'm not expecting much for them so maybe one huge lot on craigslist. Although everyone there thinks they are a dealer and want to pay ten cents each so... I might just break them up into smaller lots, by theme, run or whatever, to try to sell that way. I've sold a couple lots on craigslist but it hasn't been too fruitful. I do decently on ebay, but fees are pretty garbage. Although if i got 50 cents a book after all my costs, I don't suppose that is too terrible. Anyone want to by about 600 modern , mostly X-men related comics? no? come on! they are sweet! And high grade! Hopefully I'll have some more X-Men goodness soon to post. Hope everyone is doing well!
  3. Ok, big update coming. I cross posted these in the "new in your collection thread" as I got them, but wanted to post them all at once here. This is what I've picked up lately, all of it via sales on these boards. huzzah!
  4. Should have told them you'd give them $5 for the 50 because of that totally ugly date stamp Seriously though, to say 9 bucks was an absolute steal would be quite the understatement. nice pickups!
  5. Heck of a collection already, though. nice!
  6. ah ya ok, just meant that the sold outs are missing from the list. So the only way to know that is to check the drop down. Annoying, but overall I don't think I mind this kind of listing. an ebay store is an ebay store. I WOULD mind if there is no image of what I'm shopping for. In the case of comics, I like lots of images. So that's going to be severely limited with this kind of listing. I can see it being great for a ton of other types of goods, though.
  7. ah god more ebay lots showed up. These were in there! There were others. These are the highlights. I've got a ton of extra vampirella, warlord of mars, and Red Sonja books to sell now. GREAT
  8. I thought sold out items disappeared, or at least that this is an option? So if the one you want is listed say in the description as available but missing from the drop down then you know it is sold out. Is that not the case?
  9. It does seem ridiculous that the modern era hasn't been split up yet. The 90s alone, from the debut of Image through the bust until maybe something like Walking Dead #1 seems like a really good era to split off. I mean it is 2018. Almost fifteen years since WD1. Entire previous eras didn't last that long. We are in an era now of smaller print runs, more diversity than ever in publishers, genres, etc. The Marvel cinematic universe impacting the entire industry. It's just a little silly to be calling everything from just prior to Image to now all one Modern era.
  10. i mean, the feature is built into the ebay interface, isn't it? How would you report that?! Doesn't this allow a seller to get around any listing limitations they might have?
  11. That's what I meant . Should have clarified. They have it, it's just over priced
  12. The highlights this week. Sorry about the glare from the mylar. Preface:
  13. buy it all, just in case, duh. support your local comic shop etc!
  14. I only head down to Midtown Comics on NCB for stuff that my closest local doesn't get in or for exta copies whenever things are being limited to one per customer. And even then its rare. It's a cool shop, the wall of new stuff every Wednesday is fun to browse, but you aren't going to find silver and bronze at their physical locations.
  15. Last call on this thread. All single comics are now 35% off the listed price. The Dark Knight's Metal lot now includes #6 for the same $100 price. If you would like individual prices for any of the Dark Knight's books, just PM me. I am willing to break the lot up. I'll be closing the thread in the morning. Thanks to everyone who has purchased so far!
  16. Paid asap, great to deal with
