  1. Tell it to the Marines #5 Nov 1952 Underrated war GGA title. Has lots of GGA as well as pin up stuff. War with a smile! Camera cover for those who collect them... Tight, clean complete copy. Has a little spine wear, a few small creases (including a long "subscription" one down center). Tiny piece out of bottom of cover. Book and centerfold still attached fairly well to covers. Nice interior pages. If I didn't have a better one, I'd keep it for sure. WAS $45. NOW $40. (Cheap date!)

  6. A 20 year grail has been completed! I have wanted this pin since the first time ever saw it. One of the most colorful and graphic of all premium pins. Trouble is, it is very rare. Hake's has had only a few in all the years they have been around and it always went WAY over what I wanted to pay. A week ago, one popped up on the bay in the comic book section. I figured most of you comic book guys didn't know better or cared. So I sat there watching it sit with one bid. Last day, I punched in a HUGE number at the end and ending up getting it for a song. Gotta have patience if you collect stuff like this. So stoked!
  7. Exactly. I have quite a few ACGs. But very spotty. There are a few real good ones but the covers and stories have always left me flat. I pick them up when they turn up cheap and I don’t have them. Stars are the same way for me. Great LB Cole covers but rather weak inside other than the occasional Disbrow story. Other than those two titles, I am pretty complete PCH wise.
  8. Your wife ever go in there Mike? My wife would have a heart attack!
  9. Axmen gets the Dope Slaves. Great bargain copy, you will love it. Thank you sir!
  10. n2wdw grabs a little Junior/Sunny GGA. Thanks Mike, you will LOVE this!
  11. It don’t much more purple and pink than this. (sorry for the cross post but I love this one)..,
  12. Mailman brought me this Bernard Bailey beauty today. Funny, but I don’t think I have ever seen another one. Cool helicopter cover to boot!
  13. Welcome back Jimmers. That is one of my favorites too!
  14. I got the one I posted without the cape from a box on the ground early in the morning for $85. I couldn’t whip the money out fast enough. That being said, although cool as hell, there are plenty of them around. Several thousand unless mint and complete with the plain un-marked box seems like a stretch to me...
  15. I don’t know but that is an oddity for sure!
  16. OK, that's it for today. Back tomorrow with another mess of junk...
  17. SOLD via PM People ask me all the time... Robot Man, "How do you know so much about all these premiums, pinbacks, toys and stuff?" Well, to be honest, it's about 50 years of chasing it. But along the way this book has helped my out a lot. Hakes Guide to Character Toys This fat 940 page book documents just about every know item in this category with photos and info. Just open it to any page and dig in. Will be hard to put down and the knowledge you will get in invaluble. The prices are old school and very high but it is like the Overstreet Guide for this stuff.
