Sold a couple of books recently to Eli. A perfect transaction. Smooth contact and very fast payment. Would deal with him again in a heartbeat!

Yes, I believe he posted about it. I believe he sold it because of the "displayability" of it. I would have to agree. I don't think I would want it on my wall either. Now, that being said, I would happily hang up covers like Vault of Horror #30 or #35. Probably for a lot less money. It should go to a museum I think.

Classic cover aren't you glad you have one
Yes indeed. But it is a "love book". For a number even close to that, I could be pursauded to break up with her...
It looks to me like that copy might have had a little "potential" left in it. Maybe the reason for the price.

Anybody see the closing price of Love Diary #31 on the bay yesterday? Jeeze!

Not to mention, Bat #1 has his origin and the first Catwoman as well I believe. He has always been (along with Superman) top of the heap with the non- comic collecting public. You mention Batman to them and you get a reaction. Cap, not as much.
I am a Marvel Zombie and much prefer the Cap #1 cover. But when I had to sell my Bat #1 or Cap #1, sadly, I let the Cap go...

Yorba Linda con is the ticket.
I would have to go +3. One of the most concentrated and packed shows out there. Nothing but vintage comics. Only one day, but what a day! Great thing is that it is end of January. Perfect time for a small vacation to dig out of the snow. Lots of So CAL attractions nearby. Have seen TONS of out of state dealers and buyers at this show.

I don't have a copy of it. But, I would suspect that the contents probably varied. Annuals and giants were usually made up of over runs or newstand returns. Most likely the case with this one too.

I hate this time of year...
Baseball is over... Halloween is over... Dark at 5:00... Have to dust off the boots and jackets, Leaves to rake and girls are starting to wear more clothes...
But at least where I live we will have garage sales and flea markets all year long.
Been pretty busy on the weekends and have missed my favorite one for a couple of months. Was able to get up early yesterday and make it out there. Got to see this from the parking garage.

Everybody but my wife. She doesn't care for roses, and prefers carnations. But then I don't send her flowers on Valentines Day, I pick a couple random days
during the year and send her flowers. Oh, and always on Armstrong Day.If I do that, I always get “What did you do wrong?”...

what the hey... I know someone would like it as the valentine gift!
Hey, probably cheaper than roses and so much more thoughtful!

Pictorial Love Stories #1
Matt Baker cover, and it's just as well that's it, because there's a missing CF.
Interior is rough with tears through the spine right up to the artwork in two spots, cover loose, tape inside spine, and of course centerfold out.
Who wants a rough reader with a nice Baker cover?
Asking $50
