I generally keep most of my non-comic books on display. I have a "room" with several display cases and a couple more around the house. For the most part, like items are displayed together. I like things all neat and tidy where I can access them easily. You can ask Adamstrange or Yellowkid as they have both been over to the "junk pile". Most of my non-collecting friends think I am crazy (but they always want to look...)

I have to say you probably have more of the eclectic and off the beaten path GGA than possibly anyone else here. I know there are more pedigreed collections but when I have a book that Robot Man doesn't have it is always a unicorn miracle surprise.
Awesome display of Fox GGA
Thanks Rick! That's high praise from one of the kings of GGA! And, there's LOTS of stuff I don't have. I still need a couple Phantom Ladies and Blue Beetles to finish my later Fox GGA run. Just to cheap to pick them up I guess. Here's another unusual one. Jack Kamen cover I believe.

I'm sure you'll have to say it again in a few months after I attribute the whole cover to Kamen for the tenth time or so.
I attribute it to horny sub teenage boys...

New Additions
Here are some recent additions to the comic room. I've been looking for a nice copy of Rangers 29 for a while. I got this one via an eBay auction. You wonder how long the girl has been hanging there.
This is the first appearance of the Losers. I was really happy to get this!
I've been looking for a nice copy of this classic Wilbur cover. Due to the missing upper right corner I was able to get it for a reasonable price.
I've always liked this non-Baker Cinderella Love cover:
And speaking of Baker, here's one I picked up:
Love that Wilbur! Ricksneatstuff turned me on to it. Corner missing? Oh, yeah, I hardly noticed...

As many of you know, I no longer post scans of slabbed books that include labels. But on rare occasions ...such as acquiring a new book with an old label... I'm inclined to make an exception.
This is a mid-grade Cap I'd sold several years ago...
and the recent upgrade:
Man, I'd have quit at that 7.0 and taken it to heaven with me!

That is a big problem with TAR 31. I've only seen one or two copies that have nice centering, and with the word balloon on the far left side it really ruins the visual appeal on mis-centered copies.
I checked my other Secrets copy , and it looks as if I have more of the woman in that one. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see the original full-bleed artwork?!! Maybe I'll photoshop together the cut margins of my copies and have a nice full poster image printed...
Might as well add mine. Not as rare as some think.

I don't usually go there but there is a local swap meet only on Saturday. Mostly bad garage sale stuff and storage locker cleaners. I saw Dave Hester from "Storage Wars" selling he finds in the lockers. What a tool! He really thinks he is some kind of a "star".
Anyway, it pays to look. I found this in a lady's jewelry case. She thought it was "costume jewelry" and charged me 2 bucks for it. Little did she know it was a Sky King "Mexican Aztec" premium ring. One of the better premium rings. I already had one but. for two bucks...
Sky King was an early 1950's TV show. He was a rancher in AZ. Along with his niece Penny and sidekick Clipper flew around in his airplane called "Songbird" around his Flying Crown ranch catching crooks and spies.
His show was sponsored by Peter Pan Peanut Butter. They offered many very cool, inventive and well made premiums. Here is the Mexican Aztec ring:

I can do better than that. I bought a GLOD that said "coupon clipped". I cracked it out (was always going to) and found that it was a panel clipped out of a page with story on both sides.
So much for "buying slabbed books for peace of mind about what you're getting".
Wow! Now THAT is a big problem. Kind of makes you think about submitting books to them...

Nice ones! Yeah, the covers without the side bars and dialogue balloons rock! Nothing to spoil the beautiful art and coloring.
A true testamint to Matt Baker. There are no fewer than 3 active first page threads devoted to him currently in the GA section. Sure glad I discovered his stuff many years ago when you could get copies at bargain prices...

I know it might be sacrilege to say this, but the woman is perhaps not the most attractive by Baker standards. Maybe it is the haircut that has mullet like elements or the somewhat heavy inking around her eyes, but just my two cents. Hopefully I won't be tarred and feathered. But it is a beautiful copy!
I think it is more the verbiage and suggestive nature of the cover that really gets to collectors. Kind of like the "hold d_ _k" cover.

Oh man, I put this one on my want list just yesterday. And of course you have a nice copy.
One of my top 5 Baker covers in any genre. The colors are beautiful and the bra less blonde is stunning. I put up a mid grade copy in a sales thread and it took forever to sell it. I don't know why the romance books get all the love?

The sig on this low gradeSpiderman is OK I guess. Due to the condition, it probably doesn't affect the grade at all. If it were high grade, it certainly would. If I wrote "Robot Man" on the cover of a book, CGC would downgrade for it. Why is does Stan Lee's name not do the same? Bucks, CGC can make money off it.
I have many books I got signed myself back in the day including Stan. I always had them signed in ball point pen at the bottom of the splash page. They would all get downgraded or qualified if I submitted them but I don't care...
If you needed to do it, you made a good choice of books.

Truly an item I would love to own. I have a couple of the sentinel of liberty badges, but have never been able to find a sentinel of liberty wallet card. If anyone has one, I would be willing to trade a badge for a wallet membership card.
The membership card and envelope are probably 10 times more rare than the badge. Case in point, you have a couple of badges. However I did find a stray copper badge envelope once by it's self. The brass and copper badge envelope and card have very slight differences. And for sake of accuracy, both versions came with a small piece of cardboard that the badges were pinned to for mailing.

No offense, but tipping a cold one and reading one of those awsome Juniors or Sunnys seems like a far better use of your time. Oh, that's right, now you can't...

I was thumbing through this little gem last night... Lots of cool horror books in it. The Mystery in Space at bottom is a different bound volume I got from the same person.
