  1. in further news to aggravate the older male crowd here: https://gizmodo.com/megan-thee-stallion-mcu-she-hulk-hocus-pocus-tusk-2-1849466739 raise your hands, if you need to google this person.
  2. I wouldn't even get it graded as is. probably a 1.0.
  3. LOL #7 how much can ya bench? I'm getting a callback to Boogie Nights, how much can ya squat?
  4. I saw a recent leak that said it was: Abomination Ghost Taskmaster (god I hope it's not the deaf mute female) USAgent Yelena Zemo and...Winter Soldier. Take with grain of salt.
  5. same here. i kept hearing about Stranger Things. Game of Thrones and Umbrella Academy. Watched a few minutes of it, didnt' care for it.
  6. when it's closing time at the bar, sometimes you take what you can get LOL
  7. He was probably chosen for this after they saw him in Fargo Season 3. He is downright menacing in that show
  8. well this is the MCU and it's a 30 minute show geared towards millenials. Don't expect Better Call Saul levels of story development and legal wrangling.
  9. i've gotten lots of job opportunities in bars. it's called networking.
  10. I enjoyed it too. probably laughed more than episode 1. i really don't think this is geared to the 50+ and over group. look at the music choices and soundtrack.
  11. Is Timecrimes on HBOMax? I bought it years ago on standard DVD; I don't think there's a Blu Ray that was produced.
  12. I love BTF too, but have you seen Timecrimes by Nacho Vigalondo? To me, that's the best example of time travel in a movie. The story unfolds upon itself and the more you think about the plot, the more layers you unravel.
  13. Probably not a popular opinion but I'm really high on Blade Runner 2049, so I would pick both. I also forgot to add Pulp Fiction and Dark Knight. I've probably watched all the films on my list dozens if not hundreds of times. A lot of times I'll just put it on in the background or when I work out. I never tire of watching them.
  14. i'm going to say 5.5 as is. should press higher.
  15. Shawshank Blade Runner (both) Empire Strikes Back GoodFellas Avengers Endgame Mad Max Road Warrior Aliens T2
  16. this is why warner and discovery had to merge. they're losing the streaming wars to Netflix and Disney. I had HBO max....for one month. Just to watch Swamp Thing. I saw no other shows I wanted to watch in the near future so I cancelled. I didn't even pay anything since I got the free intro month. Netflix has Prime. They have some other benefits beside just the streaming. Disney spaces out their shows every two months. If I pay one month for nothing, it's not that big of a deal. If there was 6 months of no content, I'd just cancel and sign up again. But they have their slate of shows down to a science.
  17. smart business. you paid an ugodly sum for this IP, why wouldn't you go after every segment of the market. and sow the seeds for the next generation of fans.
  18. i watched the episode again. in the beginning bruce references "there's also Ched". anyone know who this is? https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Ched
  19. and basically i think that's the market they're going after. teens and millenials. your casual MCU viewer. old, male comic collector with family living in the suburbs with a mortgage and obligations is not the target demographic here. that's what moon knight is for.
  20. I'm not sure if you've ever worked alongside or hung out with millenials, but it's not exactly uncommon.
