  1. Hi @warren19, Thank you for your suggestion. CSG is always looking for ways to improve our process and products. We do not have plans to change the label or holder at this time but will take your suggestion into consideration.
  2. Hi @Ddunn1010. Once the submission is received into our system, you will receive an automated confirmation email with the initial details. You will also be able to track the progress via the submission tracking tool in your account. Please contact our customer service department if you encounter any issues. Thank you service@csgcards.com
  3. Hi @ELO, Thank you for your post. CSG is experiencing a brief delay in receiving packages into our system but we are working diligently to clear the backlog. When submitting Walkthrough submissions, please be sure to clearly write "WK" on all sides of the package. Our receiving team will try to have these entered quickly.
  4. @LDarkseid1, Congrats on being the first one to post in the thread! Best of luck with your submission.
  5. Hi @ThomasAA, Thank you for your post. CSG typically receives packages into the system within 72 business hours of being delivered. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a backlog at the moment which will cause a delay. Once your submission is entered, you will receive an automated confirmation email and the submission will be visible in the submission tracking section of your account. Side note - this forum is for general sports card talk and is not monitored by CSG. For any CSG specific questions, please use the "Ask CSG" forum or contact us at Service@csgcards.com
  6. Hello @Leatherwood1, Thank you for your post. Please add your request to the applicable thread below. I provided the link for the main page of the CGC Registry as well as a screenshot to show the 3 different "2021" threads that are pinned to the top of the page. Uncanny X-Men #350 currently has a slot in X-Men (1963) #1-544, X-Men (1963) #301-#544, and X-Men (1963)(Complete). https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/33-cgc-registry/
  7. Hello @Abeyea, The turnaround times are based on the date that the submission is received. If yours was received the same day as our fellow poster, then it should begin progressing through the system very soon as well. Thank you for your patience.
  8. Hello @Buzzetta, Thank you for your question. CSG currently grades "pack pulled" autographs only. CSG will not grade cards that were signed in-person and not under the authority of the card manufacturer. https://www.csgcards.com/card-grading/cards-we-grade/
  9. Hello @Sam Howard, I am sorry to hear of your frustration with this process. I have looked into your submission and have been told that this should be moving along very soon. I apologize for the delay and/or miscommunication on our end.
  10. Hello @Shockmaster, Unfortunately, CSG will not be added to the collector society website. When the CSG registry and population report are created, they will be on the CSG website. Thank you
  11. @ParkRaven, I apologize if there was any confusion. Please review the instructions in my post above. The set was still created on the CGC Registry Main page as a new thread. It will need to be created within the pinned and highlighted thread in the screenshot. This will put your request in line with all other collector requests.
  12. Hi @StephenWA, Thank you for your feedback. We have our eyes on completely redoing the CGC registry but I do not expect this to be done any time soon. We want the user and admin experience to be much more efficient and are putting some work in behind the scenes to make that happen but this includes incremental steps that will now show dividends to our collectors for a bit. Creating large, modern sets (many variants) and expanding modern sets is a painstaking process which slows down all requests and we hope to speed this up as well as find a way to automatically add slots to sets once graded. "Add from inventory" may be an option but we must figure out if we can add logic to only add books applicable to that specific set. I am not sure if that is possible, and if not, users will be able to request to add Donald Duck to ASM Complete sets which will be a step back. Currently, the "remove book from set" requests are generally lumped into the "Slot" request thread but I am open to adding a new thread if needed. I do not think this is as popular so I prefer to keep it in the current thread to allow dialogue with other collectors. I am not a comic expert, so it is helpful when others chime in with their opinions on additions/removals. We are looking to add a full time registry admin to help/replace me very soon as I am wearing many hats (no excuse!). I have been fully involved in the launch of CSG which has taken me away from the registry and that is not fair to our collectors. I have been adding sets in my limited down time and hope to be completed with the 2020 set requests soon.
  13. Hello @ParkRaven, Thank you for your request. Please add your request to the thread below which is for "Set Requests" only. You will also see the other 2 threads pinned to the top for score and slot requests. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/33-cgc-registry/
  14. Hello @SeanYork, Thank you for your suggestion. We are always looking for ways to make the user experience and admin workload much more efficient. I will pass along your idea to our team for consideration.
  15. @frozentundraguy, Please try your request again. I had something changed internally which should have fixed this issue. Thank you
  16. Hello @Robert Ortiz Sr Collection , Thank you for your post. Please make all slot, score, and set requests in the applicable "2021" thread pinned to the top of the CGC Registry page of the chat boards. I provided a screenshot with a highlight of the correct "slot" thread below. Please review the first post in the thread for instructions as I will need more details to fulfill the request.
  17. Hello @Magmar, Thank you for your post. Please make all slot, score, and set requests in the applicable "2021" thread pinned to the top of the CGC Registry page of the chat boards. I provided a screenshot with a highlight of the correct "slot" thread below. Please note that these books are not eligible for the set as they are reprints of the original books in Volume 1.
  18. Hello Everyone, We have been experiencing intermittent issues with our website that include the submission tracking, certification verification and registry additions. Please note that we are aware of the issue and are working towards the long term solution. While we work on this issue, the functions may not function consistently. If you receive an error with a registry addition such as "Not in database" or "certification number not found" please try your request at a later time. If possible, please refrain from emailing and messaging each time the functionality is down as this takes away from my ability to work on the request backlog. I hope that this post provides clarity to the situation and I appreciate your patience. Thank you all!
  19. Hi @Jeremysitb, Please note that the UK grading fees include round trip shipping and insurance from the UK office to the US office and back to the UK office. You can pick up the items from the UK office without any additional fees, pay the additional UK insured postage rate, or set up a courier of your choosing (cheaper but typically uninsured). If you submit directly to the US office you will need to factor in your shipping to and from the facility. Please note that international shipments are not insured unless you provide your own shipping carrier and 3rd party insurance coverage. Carriers do not insure collectibles for international transit. As always, it is best to submit books in larger quantities to mitigate your shipping costs. CGC can ship up to 25 books per package. For any other questions please reach out to the US or UK offices directly. US Office - submissions@cgccomics.com UK Office - service@cgccomics.uk
  20. Locking the thread. All requests will be honored in the order by which they appear on the thread before moving to the 2021 thread. Please use the 2021 threads moving forward. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!

  23. Hello @SkillzWeldon, Thank you for your post. Please note that all registry slot, score and set requests need to be made in the applicable threads highlighted below You were on the right page but just one step away. Set requests would be made in the 2020 "This set doesn't exist, please build" request thread below. The first post on each of the threads provides instructions on how to post. You can also see the overall theme of the collector posts for reference. Set requests would require a specific title, run, artist, etc to be created. We are not able to create a set for a single issue as the variants/foreign editions are still the same book. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  24. Hello Everyone, I have been working diligently to make sure that the requests are caught up. Currently the slot and score requests are up to date (meaning within a week or two old) and the next set request to be created was posted on 9/18. I will be spending the majority of my time over the next few weeks assisting our operations teams as we have an incredible amount of volume across our collectible companies. Luckily, I am able to wear multiple hats so I can assist with our different collectible types and operations departments. I will have limited access to my computer (and email) for the next few weeks and this may cause a slight delay on the pending requests. Thank you in advance for your patience and have a happy holiday!
