Thank you for your post. While the case and inner well are designed to protect the item damage can still occur from rough handling, shipping, drops, or extreme temperatures. Our graders inspect the books prior to removing them for the reholder service. In the rare case that they deem a book to be damaged we will need to properly evaluate the book and assign the new grade.

@workingdog thank you for your feedback. I actually changed the name from Supergirl (Rebirth-2016) as there are technically two different sets. CGC has only graded issues #1 and #13 of the rebirth set so I removed them from the Supergirl set as it was confusing for everyone (me included).

hello @Morpheus89, This message means that the registry does not have a book in that slot yet or that you may have added the incorrect book to the slot. These are sent to an admin queue which I am currently working through. We were on a freeze for 6 weeks for the award season so I am working through the backlog at this time. This will be resolved soon. Thank you

Hello @ramrod44, I am currently working through a 6 week backlog in the Admin queue. These requests will be completed in the order by which they were received and the backlog should be cleared within the next few business days.

@IkewithMike, I would love to assist further but please understand that I am versed in the CGC registry and this is veering towards technical grading issues and how they relate to the census. I would suggest contacting our customer service team with the information provided as they will need to discuss with our experts. My first guess is that the book may have been mis-labeled and sent back in as a mechanical error to be fixed which means that it would not be in the census as a stand alone copy. Also the book may have been categorized under the standard issue along with a notation of an error. If that is the case, I assume that we would not create a new "book" in our census as it is technically the same but with a defect. submissions@cgccomics.com

Hello @IkewithMike, CGC does not take photos of the books they grade. In the future, we hope to add the book images to the cert verification page but this process is not in place.

Hello @IkewithMike, Thank you for your post and my apologies for the delayed response as our experts had to do some digging. We are aware that the Blue and Red foils were created in limited quantities (50 each) and were not aware of a Silver foil until one was received by our team. The book was deemed to be genuine, free of alterations, and was labeled as a silver foil. If you have any credible research to debunk this book I would gladly pass it along to our experts for review.

Hello Everyone, Congrats to those that won an award as well as a big thank you to those that choose to participate in the CGC Registry. The CGC registry continues to grow exponentially and it is all thanks to our passionate collecting community! The backlog of "errors" and slot, score, and set requests will be worked on in the coming weeks. Hello @dragonmgmt, I apologize for the delayed response as we have been busy judging the awards. The Variant Edition does exist as it is one of the Hip Hop variants. We have received a few submissions of this variant but they were not actually graded (failed prescreen), therefore they are not listed in the census.
