Hello Everyone, I have been working diligently to make sure that the requests are caught up. Currently the slot and score requests are up to date (meaning within a week or two old) and the next set request to be created was posted on 9/18. I will be spending the majority of my time over the next few weeks assisting our operations teams as we have an incredible amount of volume across our collectible companies. Luckily, I am able to wear multiple hats so I can assist with our different collectible types and operations departments. I will have limited access to my computer (and email) for the next few weeks and this may cause a slight delay on the pending requests. Hello @Ojeep06, Thank you for your post. You are in the right section for the request but need to place it into the proper thread. Please see the screenshot below as I highlighted the 3 pinned (pinned to the top of the page) threads for slot, score and set requests. Your request needs to be placed into the 2020 "This set doesn't exist, please build" thread. We do not have the X-23 (2018) set yet and we can build it but will need you to place your request in order with the other pending ones.

Hello @RayJr I am sorry to hear about your frustrations and I know you are not the only collector with those feelings. I assure you that I am working diligently to get all threads up to date. The score and slot requests are caught up and the set requests are actively being worked on. I have started to add the "completion date" (IE set created on 11/16/200 to the edited posts to provide further clarity on the progress of requests. The CGC registry continues to grow exponentially and we are working hard to streamline the process and allocate resources. While it is not an exact science, you can see that the amount of posts in the 2019 threads compared to 2020. Also the size of requests continue to grow as modern sets are introduced the to collectors. For example, the "Do You Pooh" set contained over 1100 books. Unfortunately, set creation is time-consuming as it is a lot of data to sift through and edit. This set took 3 days on and off to complete. The examples above are strictly for transparency purposes and to provide an understanding of the process. I ask that you and our fellow collectors bare with us and exercise patience at this time. Hello @Dhitaker07, Thank you for your post. Covers comprised of FOIL, ACETATE, LENTICULAR/3D, METAL, or CHROMIUM material as well as those containing EMBOSSING, GLOW IN THE DARK, HOLOGRAPHIC, or JEWEL embellishments are not suitable for pressing.

Hello @nebyort, You are able to place multiple orders (packing slips) into one package and ship it to CGC. The system should allow you to choose multiple services and/or tiers for one order but if not please create a new order. Please note that each individual grading tier or service will be shipped back to you separately.

If you decide to make a request please do so in this thread and read and follow the instructions in the first post. When requesting a score increase we ask that you limit your request to those specific books that are grossly under declared. Hello @djpinkpanther67, The book has been added to the slot. Please note that the error you received means that the book was added to our admin queue. We work on these items automatically so the issue will typically be resolved within a few business days.

Hello @Calranos, Thank you for your post. I believe you are referring to the census and not the registry. The census, or population report, is used to see how many of each collectible we have graded. Both items are on our radar for 2021 and I believe the census will be the first of the two to be completed. I believe it is safe to say that this should be completed prior to Q4 of 2021. Thank you

Hello @Draking, Thank you for your post. This is a factory line which is from two sheets of the foil layer being joined when the card stock was created. Heavy lines like this will affect the surface grade of a card. Generally it will not drop it below a Mint 9 grade.

Hello @Calranos, Thank you for your post. The CGC registry only contains comic books and magazines at this time. We plan to release a Trading Card registry at a much later date. Please note that you do not need to purchase a membership to participate or view the Registry or Census. You may actually be referring to the Census as this show the total number of comics, magazines and trading cards (we will begin to build this section soon) and not the registry.

@SOTIcollector, I will gladly update the scores if you come across any recent reputable sales. If not, we would need to keep the score at the "raw" value as any increase would be subjective. While I understand that the book is most likely worth way more than the raw value, we need auction results to back it. I am sorry that I cannot be of further assistance.

Hello, I do not have an easy way to search for all availability but considering that these are one-shots (except for Hell Arisen) they would not have their own set. They can be added to artist cover sets or complete with variant sets if applicable. You may request for the Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen set to be created as it is not a one-shot. Thank you
