  1. “Dylan’s Guaranty Corporation” ”I do not currently own nor intend to own any grading companies.”
  2. In a literal sense, sure, but the ultimate intent would seem to be the same - to knowingly and intentionally deceive others for personal gain.
  3. I was honestly hoping Dylan would put his ego on the shelf and rewire his ethics. After all, there will need to be a new generation of dealers for our hobby to continue on strong. To see him going this scorched earth against his own reputation is really sad.
  4. Is Dupcak a professor emeritus somewhere? Dylan certainly seems to be taking pages from that playbook.
  5. What did he say when he started bonking all his posts in the character label resto thread? Something like he was “consolidating for clarity”? We’re still waiting on that ccc (clear, concise, consolidated) post too.
  6. No surprise really, I would chalk it up to eBay doing everything it can to prevent users contacting each other privately to circumvent eBay's fees.
  7. Having the book authenticated would open him up to fraud...makes perfect sense. In other news...
  8. Bah, just make the switch to the vernacular units: $1 = bone $100 = bill $1000 = stack Just don’t mix them up. “I’ll give you 2 bones for that X-Force 1” will leave you a lot richer than “I’ll give you 2 stacks for that X-Force 1”.
  9. S-K-A-M. Such a scam that it doesn’t deserve proper spelling.
  10. Hopefully your friend declined to participate in the transaction, sounds like the "buyer" was either planning on using a hacked PayPal account to pay or was going to attempt a chargeback in relatively short order. I'd guess the former as paying outside of eBay would void eBay's seller "protection" (for whatever that's worth) as well as avoid the verification of the eBay and PayPal accounts actually being linked. Definite scam.
  11. "Does read minor restoration but still blue label" Still pretty disingenuous on the seller's part, especially since he's seeking blue label money.
  12. Yep, I think he paid like $40 for an alleged SS 9.8 ASM 252.
