Took my 4yr old girl. There were a couple parts she jumped due to being startled, there was a scene where someone was shot with a gun and died (no specifics so not spoiling), and I saw her shielding her eyes in some “scary” parts. That all sounds awful, but she paid attention the whole time and was excited about it afterwards. Overall I’m glad I took her because the borderline age appropriate parts were fleeting, and the rest of the movie was upbeat and positive.

I listed a book in response to this promotion and eBay is doing that thing where the listing doesn’t show in results. Even when I intentionally seek it out... I tested it because I wasn’t getting any views.

Good news, I just saved $91. Bad news, I just spent over $500 on an unplanned purchase. Was too good of a deal to pass up... Would have been nice to combine this with the upcoming ebucks coupon.. Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I’ve been at it for a couple months, expanding my followings and keeping an eye on feeds. I’ve bought two books that were reasonably good deals, but nothing to write home about. I’m finding myself looking at it less and less, and frankly slowly losing interest. If you want to pursue a deal via Instagram the best course is to branch out your network to less mainstream folks (non-dealers/collectors that infrequently sell). More obscure the better... Otherwise expect GPA, which is understandable from a seller’s POV, but personally I might as well buy on eBay if I’m paying full market value (buyers protection, ebucks, coupons, etc..). I’m actually finding myself wanting to unfollow some of the bigger dealers because they consume my feed... In short, you aren’t missing much...and there’s “no place like home”...aka the CGC forums. Besides the transaction side of things, the sense of community and legitimate content of thoughts/experience exchanged is unparalleled.

Scratch that, looked at the results online wrong. Not that anyone cares but if we’re tracking results for trends want to give good info...got dinged by one PQ level, came back off-white.

I think I’m having a dumb moment because I thought it was good until midnight tonight (12am = midnight, midnight 16DEC = tonight), but I guess not because the banners gone. This wouldn’t be a problem if eBay didn’t bury the active promotions section. I have a hard time finding on my computer, and don’t think I’ve ever found it on the app, which is what I use 95% of the time.

Of course it’s not wise to buy the peak, but the peak isn’t always apparent. We all have books we regret not paying through the nose for...sometimes stepping up is the right move... But I 100% agree on MSH13, not touching it...
