  1. Listing a few books (first round in order of ask from high to low). Per norms, first or pm gets it. 14 day return for any reason - you pay return shipping in condition as originally shipped. Note, I'd rather sell to a boardie than on feeBay so if I'm out of line, p.m. me an offer. Payment via PayPal, thanks in advance. Shipping $5. Book >$200 shipping is $20. Will combine shipping - same price all or one. My Canadian friends to the north please add $20. 2. Took a bit of time (several years), but completed the 4 issue Ernie run. Now I want/need the 2 issue Andy run that proceeded it (if anyone can help?). I just added the #24, but posting them all 4 for posterity.
  3. ...if they would just make a search criteria for GA only it would make a world of difference to me...
  4. No mystery here. The seller is a boardie. Here is a list of the entire Daisy stash he found and sold. https://www.goodgirlcomics.com/13398-2/ Looks like at least one had Daisy written on it. None of those I saw at auction did.
  5. So sweet! I was told by the seller this cover (yours) was the highlight of the find - never expected to be so lucky as to see it! I've grabbed as many as I could - there are only 240 or so in total. This is the only one I've seen with writing "Daisy", mine are either stamped or nothing (some do have writing or date notations inside).
  6. What is that code? Almost looks like a URL. So answering myself, checked GCG, seems that wasn't done by the OO. "which ultimately ended up in the hands of George Olshevsky, a well-known Timely historian. Olshevsy eventually sold his collection in 1988; prior to that he had meticulously penned a code number, date, and the condition of the book in the margin of an interior page of every issue>"
  7. Here are two of several Daisy Air Rifle Company File Copies I added (I've accumulated 26 of them).
  8. Picked up a rough copy of some Baker goodness.
  9. Back in the stash after I sold my other a few years back. One of my top Good Girl books no doubt about it, so just about as soon as I sold one, I needed another again lol.
  10. Nice, congrats. I went after that. I won the #5 cover - now I need the inside...
  11. I purchased this as a Cookeville. https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/police-comics-45-cookeville-pedigree-quality-1945-cgc-vf-nm-90-off-white-to-white-pages/a/122019-13247.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Which was fine until some research here on the boards about the markings, which led me to this: https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/police-comics-45-cookeville-pedigree-quality-1945-cgc-vf-85-cream-to-off-white-pages/a/122017-17258.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 CGC re-slabbed it for me without the pedigree and I think HA gave me $100 back - can't exactly recall all the details.
  12. Double cover! Damn, get me a ticket to the Wisconsin airport and a rental to Elm Grove. Get that if you can!
  13. I see a couple in there I wouldn't mind having for sure. Whenever I've tried a couple of these estate sales locally I've nearly been trampled by a rush of people stampeding into the open who instantly spread all over the house from basement to attic. Once my comic book sniffing radar hones in on the key spot I care about I'm greeted by a small cadre of like minded individuals with sharp elbows, steely-eyes and cat that caught the canary grins. At the end of the day I start feeling for whomever used to live here and then note that the prices realized are above what I probably would have paid here on the boards lol.
  14. Well then you are not the smart guy - that year is of lesser value. Should have went with month you were born, but earliest year of the published book. But I'm the village comic insufficiently_thoughtful_person. You win.
  15. I'll sell you an Action Comics published on the 'Month' you were born. What year are you picking? I was born on a month of which there are 12. Year is a different animal. But whatever. Post yours.
  16. Dude, I take things literally. If you say month, that means month. Let's try this. I'll sell you an Action Comics published on the 'Month' you were born. What year are you picking?
