  1. This one (or two) immediately came to mind.
  2. Certainly these boards, amongst other reasons, will make my grading company decision simple when I start to get books graded.
  3. Needed a slicer for my coffee shop. Used nearest first to search for one. Bought one and it was my next door neighbor! He threw in an awesome pair of mountain skis too.
  4. The Norem Savage Sword cover went for about what it sat on ebay at for months. About the same as a much earlier cover went for in the last HA auction. Both were nice but this one was masterful.
  5. What's really peeving me off is that I was offered a piece for 5k four months ago that I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on thats already selling for more with time to go.
  6. If you see a guy there with a 100 dollar bill wrapped around a wad of singles stop me and say hello.
  7. Back in the day I found the best way to move books like that was to make a pyramid of high to low value (saleable) books or lots to sell on ebay and start them all at .99. The more desirable books will draw eyes to the lesser books and offering combined shipping will lead to more sales. Rotate the higher end books from a previous month at buy-it-now and best offer listings. Use prior sales data on ebay to insure your lots will sell. My guess is you will get at least 50% fmv. Can't lie though, 15 years later I'm seriously missing some of the gems I sold.
  8. Don't worry Rick, someday your ship will come in!
  9. Bought lots of books from Rick and he has always been true to his word. Great boardie.
  10. Might have to make the Carbo show my first show ever and then stay after for the museum tour at Comic Connect. I was there when the "museum" opened and loved it. Throw the Berk collection in and sounds like a hell of a day in NYC.
