  1. I was just surprised, I’ve seen Divito’s covers at around 1k. Great pick-up.
  2. I can't imagine anyone throwing out expensive cut footage these days. The studio should spring for a little extra to have Snyder clean it up and splice it all in. I'd pay to see it.
  3. This is all I took from your post. It is a failure on my part that I'm working on.
  4. Will be seeing it soon, expecting entertaining dumb fun. I know going in its people living underwater not Schindler's List. I still do not like Jason Mammary.
  5. There had better be a lot of existing cut footage for this to work for me. That and ten more years so I can go in fresh having forgotten the first cut.
  6. Published card art by Terry Moore. Auction win at CLink for $291 two months ago.
  7. After a thousand issues, there’s nothing left for him to do. Maybe sitting on the toilet reading a Batman comic?
  8. I had heard that a film or series was in the works for Ronin and started searching online. Was disappointed to read that the Sci-Fi channel was picking it up but then I guess that fell through. I would love to see a six episode series from HBO or Netflix. I came across this decade old article which I think perfectly sums up the book. Its very insightful and worth the time of anyone with a passing interest. I gave up on this book several times in the 80's and 90's. Took nearly two decades for me to flip flop my position on the ugly book and now its up there in the top three for me. https://www.cbr.com/259065-2/
  9. Regarding the Silver Centurion armor, I don't believe Layton had his hand in that one at all. I could be wrong. Mark Bright drew Iron Man #200.
  10. I think it’s clear that you either created/co-created the character at it’s inception, or you didn’t. Regardless if the chararacter originally took off or not, a successful reimagining or reboot or relaunch should never rate a creator credit.
  11. The noive! Who calls himself a legend anyway? Unless your King Arthur, Bigfoot or John Holmes, you just don’t use that label.
  12. I still can’t get over the fact that grown men care whether a DC or Marvel movie is more successful than the other. I guess they also argue the PS vs Xbox and Android vs Apple topics. Just enjoy what you enjoy and let others do the same and argue for a cause worth your time. Not aimed at anyone.
  13. I’m not on the Facebook so I’ll just share here. I didn’t realize Peaks son had been doing movie posters as well going back to the Nightmare on Elm Street series. He recently did this fantastic one.
  14. No one said it won't be nominated, just that its not deserving of Best Picture. Speaking of Oscars, did you know that Shawshank Redemption had multiple nominations and was a box office failure?
  15. JP The Lost World. If you read the novel, you hated this. All the Transformers except the first one and the new one I haven't seen. (4) All the Fast and Furious movies. (10) Iron Man 2 & 3 Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 Batman V Superman Justice League Suicide Squad 2012 All the Pirates of the Caribbean Lara Croft Tomb Raider The Twilight movies Both Independence Day's Indiana Jones/Crystal Skull War of the Worlds Fifty Shades movies The Meg There's at least over 30 right there off the top of my head. I'll have to see a list to give you the rest.
  16. Oops let me add an edit here. I didn't catch the TFA on Star Wars. I do NOT believe that movie is top notch at all. Quality production, yes, but a recycled story.
  17. I disagree. You listed the TOP FIVE grossing movies which I personally agree are top notch. I could now counter you with ten times that amount of movies that were box office successes that were just... dumb.
  18. I have to admit being a huge Fury fan back in the day, I was really disappointed with Sam Jackson taking it. But it would have worked for me if it were someone more suited for the role in my eyes like Idris Elba and if the backstory was that Nick Fury was just a mantle that was passed to the next worthy operative. Then have a scene where all the Nick Furys starting from the 60's to the current one have a meeting. Yup, I'm a nerd. I always imagined Robert Conrad in his prime during The Wild Wild West days being the perfect choice for Steranko's Nick Fury.
  19. When I heard about this I had absolutely no intention of watching it. Another Transformers? John Cena? Hell no. But now I gotta give it a shot.
