He's slow to ship but keep reminding him. He hasn't posted here or at another board he frequently posts in for a week now, so it may be that he's been unable to take care of your orders for some reason or another. I sent out a MO to Gliberto on 9/9/08. He has answered my PMs, but it has been mostly one excuse after the other. The last PM was on 10/25 stating that my book would ship by 10/31 with confirmation. I haven't heard anything back or received a book yet. Cheers, I purchased some Walking Dead and did a trade with Gilberto and sent him $$ through paypal. He said he would be shipping and this was back on the 28th when I last heard from him. I'm out $18 and a Iron Man #128 and Batman Superman #1 that I sent in the trade. Havent seen him posting in the other forum he usually goes too also. Huh...he claimed he didn't accept PayPal with me...Would've made things simpler. And possibly left his "customers" with some recourse....

Yep, sadly similar story here... He doesn't take PayPal, so after the check has been cashed, he tells me the books won't ship until Oct 3. (That's over a week after he's cashed it. Two weeks go by, he says he will refund the money, then suddenly claims to have gotten the books back "from Canada". So, he says he'll ship them- again , I ask for a PM when they go. That was ten days ago and nothing. He doesn't respond or read the PM apparently. He has had a..shall we say, nonchalant attitude toward fufilling his end of the deal. Looks like a probable addition to the list....

I wouldn't reccommend stacking them high...or at all... It depends on the floor joists span, depth, etc... My guess would be the depth and spacing on the upper floor of an old Victorian would be taxed...You really wouldn't want to put more than 30 pounds per sqare foot up there MAX; 20 psf better...you can see where a box of comics would quickli approach that figure. Failure by stacking of boxes of books is actually a pretty common cause of failure in buildings; wharehouses usually. You should probably get the opinion of a local structural engineer...
