  1. Received this F.F.#8 as a gift back in the early 80's, do not know if the Kirby Autograph is legit.
  2. Grew up watching Beany and Cecil. When my Sister was born in 62 I received a Beany Copter which I was told was a present from my New Little Sister. Spent $100.00 to acquire another a few years back. My Four Color Books are all Beany and Cecil. #'s 368, 414, 448, 570, 635 2009 2010 2011
  3. Not high grade but I do have one and the story is the same as a 10.0 ASM 3 so I am good.
  4. According to Grading from Overstreet and Heritage Auctions books up to a VG 3.5 "Can have a book-length crease and/or dimples." That plus an accumulation of all other defects will give you the final grade. VG 4.0 states books "Can have moderate creases or dimples". Me personally... I have no issue with Subscription Creases or Arrival Dates on Covers. To me it is part of the history of the book and the times and it was common place when I was growing up and started collecting in the mid 60's.
  5. Absolutely Amazing, Astonishing, Strange and Suspenseful Run of Books and Great Display!!!
  6. I'll see your and raise you a Where did you find those? Also, a question if anybody has an answer or theory I am all ears. Over the past couple of years the lower numbered JIM books(before the prototype issues)have increased in price dramatically, selling 2-4 times over guide(even lower grade books) which I chalked up to increased popularity(why???) rarity, etc, however... I have been keeping track of what these books are selling for so I can try to judge the market but something just happened over the last 2 weeks on eBay that has me baffled and upset I did not bid. On 6/7... JIM issue # 23 in GD+ sold for $120.55 JIM issue # 24 in VG- sold for $110.50. Today 6/17 those same issues sold for... JIM issue #23 in VG sold for $49.00 JIM issue #24 in VG sold for $46.00 How do you explain the differences in price over a 2 week period and how do you judge the market with that much of a difference?
  7. Hello, New here... I currently have JIM issues 34 - 125 and Annual 1 with 10 other books between 10 - 32. I also have Thor issues 126 - 265. Here are issues 83 - 90 (83 is the Golden Records Reprint)
  8. Hello, New Here, Books are not High Grade but at this point I do have issues 41-134 and Annuals 1, 2. plus 14 other issues between 3 - 40. Here are a few...
  9. Found the problem and I am fixing the pics i originally posted on the site. I am an Admin on a Mopar site and the site automatically resizes the images from Tinypics so I never realized I can change the size of the image when I upload it. Oh Well, Live and Learn.
  10. Every time I see this shot I'm reminded that you need to get that Strange Worlds #1 graded so it fits in with the others! AMAZING!!! (No Applause Icon So...) Woot, Woot, Woot!!! Encore, Encore!!!
  11. Strange Tales #1, NICE!!! Strange Tales #1 is on my want list so we will see if one day... Again, the TOS #1 was a Christmas Gift. Here is a clearer pic of ST #4.
  12. Nice ! Cool perspective on the cover - I like the image of the city & lightning thru the sky light. Only see 8 total in the CGC census - good pickup! -bc This was a Buy It Now and the price came down from $49.00 to $42.00 and after a JIM 27 in VG just sold on eBay for $188.00 I said I better pick it up before it is gone.
  13. Gonna have to stop taking pics with my phone and cropping them, the pics are HUGE.
  14. I am liking all of them. For years I thought I was the only one, nice to see I am not.
  15. It was given to me as a Christmas gift back in 91/92???
  16. Thought I would share this. This book does not fit into my 10 cent cover collection but something about this cover hits me emotionally so I had to have it. (Sorry about the poor picture quality, do not have time right now to take a new one but I will)
