I have lists of all of my books/memorabilia/collectibles for insurance purposes. Actually glad you brought up "Monsters" in the Westerns. I had needed a Two Gun Kid 58 to complete my run of TGK and it had eluded me for years and then one showed up on eBay for $30.00 in FR condition which was almost 10 times over guide. I contacted the seller and asked why he was asking such a high price and so much over guide and his response was that it was a "Kirby Monster Cover" and I said, so... Did not buy it from him and a couple months later I got one in an eBay auction in VG for $23.00.

Was given this for a Christmas gift back in 83, my sister paid $20.00. I graded it years ago when the first Overstreet Grading Guide came out(93???), it graded at a VF. It has not been out of its Mylite since. Picture was taken about 8 years ago for insurance purposes.

Hello, New here and still finding topics to post in. I Loved Rom and bought most of my issues new from the news stand and from the first comic shop I ever found, was the first time I saw the different Logo's depicting Direct Sale or News Stand Edition. When my Son wanted to get into collecting in the 90's he wanted copies of his own so we now have 2 complete runs of ROM.

Hello, Do not own a #1 but I do own a #4 that I purchased back in the early 80's when I found my first comic shop, think I paid about $15.00.

Hello, Just found this site a few days ago and so far LOVE the Forums, you guys are Actually talking about the books I grew up with and am still collecting to this day. As far as Pre-Hero Marvel I have completed the Amazing Adventures/Adult Fantasy(except 15) TOS and TTA runs and I am currently working on the Strange Tales and JIM. Right now with those titles I have... JIM 6, 9, 13, 15, 18, 22, 26, 27(just bought), 28, 32 and 34 - 82 Strange Tales 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 13, 22, 27, 28, 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 40 and 43 - 100.

Thank You Actually I need to make a correction. My Son picked up where I left off and with his books (that are at my place now) We actually go to Daredevil #211. I had actually bought the Miller books(158 - 175, 181) new off of the newstand and gave them to him in the 90's when he wanted to start collecting and I had decided to stick with Late Gold/Silver/Early Bronze books only(basically Marvel/Atlas from 1948-1974/75).

My Comic Room is also my Bedroom and Automotive Parts Room, hard to get a panoramic view of the entire room. Here are some pics I took a few years back and added a couple of new ones tonight. Looks more impressive when you can see the room in its entirety. Most of the comic boxes are in the closets.

Currently collecting all Kid Colt Outlaw(1-101), Rawhide Kid(1-25), Two Gun Kid(1-60) 10 cent covers only. I have completed the Two Gun Kid run and only need #'s 1 and 15 to complete Rawhide Kid. Need about 12 more books to complete the Kid Colt Outlaw run after purchasing copies of #25 and #28.

Picked this up about 10-12 years ago.

I have the complete run from #2 - 441 with Annuals/Specials 1-26, 96/97

Bought this lower grade copy about 10 years ago to complete my run up to # 132.
