CGC graded sketch covers by the hand of Frank Miller are a quiet corner of many auction platforms and eBay listings. Some of these pieces may bear the marks of hasty creation, as if Miller’s attention waned elsewhere.  Nevertheless, for those whose coffers do not overflow, Miller’s acclaimed published works and coveted commissions often remain elusive dreams. The CGC sketch covers offer a lifeline to those who tread in the shallows of the OA pool, granting them access to Miller’s artistry without wreaking havoc on their budget.

I find solace in the decision I made years back to include Frank Miller pieces and a commission in my collection.  I couldn’t afford to do it in today’s market.

For those yearning to scratch that Sin City itch, preliminaries are also within reach - very similar pricing tiers as the sketch covers.

Invader Zim cast by Matt Wendt.
The art is gray and black marker.

    Invader Zim Pin-Up
    Unpublished (To my knowledge).

    I know, I know.
Invader Zim came on Nickelodeon when I was 30 years old.
But I love the show, the characters, the animation, the story.
I was a fan back then and I am a fan now. Guilty.

This is not a published piece of art (To my knowledge)
but include in a single pin-up all the characters and elements that made this show great!

    FYI I still watch cartoons...

Seems like a good pressing candidate to me. Side question: Should a presser be attempting to “square up” the book and correct the twist(for lack of a better description) or just press it flat the way it is?
    Appreciate you thoughts.

Nicest ASM 33 Book I have seen raw in years, maybe should get it graded. Small tear bottom back cover and tiny tear top front cover. Still a beauty

As is, the book is stuck at a 5.0-5.5. If you find the right pro to do a really good C&P, the book could jump in grade. There are some pros who might be able to remove the water marks or at least make them less noticeable. Good luck and thanks for posting.

Yellow perch can weigh up to 3 pounds, but it is more common to catch one that is under a pound.
